At that point where I'm fed up with trying to fit in and doing what society or others think is right. Time to find my own path, yes I know it took me awhile. I realize lots of people figure that out in the teen years, but then some never figure it out, so I guess better late than never.

Oh you should know I am poly, you can find my wife nolongerblondie on here too, and my girlfriend moonstaff. And no I'm not on here for casual sex. Not my thing.

I am sensitive, open, and strong.

Some things I like to do include, riding my waverunner, riding my motorcycle, wakeboarding, wind surfing, fiddling with my bass guitar, and entertaining my kids by making stuffed animals talk to them.

FYI, I work in Billerica, MA and live in Lewiston, ME so I change my profile location every now and then. So I'm down in Billerica during the week.

I've given it a fair shot, tried to live the traditional American dream, but when it doesn't lead to happiness it's time to rethink the dream.
I'm quite happy now, with two wonderful women who truly love me, and my work is interesting to me now that I am getting to learn some new things.

Tolkien, Orson Scott Card's Ender novels.
I don't take Rand to seriously so don't write me off due to her, seems like people have a strong reaction to her philosophy.

And lately I've been obsessed with limericks.
Oh and Samuel Taylor Coleridge, The Rime of the Ancient Mariner, and of course Kubla Khan.

I like Indian, Italian, French, German, and Mexican food.

Have to add Secretary as I thought it was a wonderful love story, which some of my friends don't understand, but I guess they just don't get it. Also cause I keep seeing it in other peoples profiles and it reminds me everytime.
Like any good geek I like SciFi (!SyFy) Star Wars and Star Trek. (Yes I have been to a Star Trek convention, but that was over ten years ago, highlight was chatting with Majel Barrett)
Seems like a lot of folks mention Princess Bride, I guess it has universal appeal, I liked it.

I'm into prog rock, bands like Rush, Coheed and Cambria, Dream Theater, Blind Guardian, Symphony X, Tool, Queensryche, Nightwish, Mr. Bungle, Queen.
Also Megadeth, Korn, Live, Faith No More, Dragon Force, Disturbed, Alanis Morrisette, Pink, Barry Manilow. I liked Purple Rain, but don't really listen to any other albums from Prince. (Well that's not entirely true. I love Raspberry Beret and Little Red Corvette) I like Maroon5 too, seen them a couple times.
Dug out some old Concrete Blond, Bloodletting, forgot how good that was. And the original Bat Out of Hell is probably what got me into prog type music.

Do I have to be the type of person who thinks about one thing for extended periods of time? I mean I do think about things seriously, but it tends to be in spurts.

Out somewhere, trying to socialize. I like meeting people, just hanging out and getting to know people.

Sometimes I'll play "life is a musical" with the kids and start singing everything instead of talking. I've even got my wife to join in with us a few times :) Just always found it so funny when they'd break into song in the middle of what seemed like a normal movie, thought real life could use that sometimes.

If you are even thinking about it, just do it. What's the worst that could happen?
