i grew up in los angeles but moved east when for sarah lawrence college; in studying both photography and psychology, i came to a career in art therapy.

for the past several years, i have been working with nonprofit organizations in ny & boston, using the arts to help children and adults with special needs. i decided to come back to california because, honestly, my dog & i both got cold ;)

i was also lucky enough to spend a year traveling through europe, which is still one of my favorite experiences. in general, my life is driven by a passion for art, travel, food and friends. i adore each of them equally and try to spend as much time as possible doing one or the other. that being said, i equally have a penchant for the ridiculous and like nothing more than laughing till you're in tears.

music... always crushing on good folk and jazz; bob dylan, ella fitzgerald, louis armstrong, johnny cash & as of late, sufjan stevens, wilco, passion pit, the walkmen, hot chip.

food: my year in italy changed my perspective on all of it, so surprise me, please! i'm very brave, will try anything.
