My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I enjoy warm weather, most sports, reading, and rocking out with my friends. Some people say I either love something or I hate it. I wish I could argue with them... but it is kind of true. I will just call it "passionate". I once dabbled in vegetarianism and I now constantly bounce back and forth between being glad I jumped ship and missing it terribly. I am fiercely loyal and never break a promise. I have five tattoos and always want more. I also have a habit of letting my hair grow out and then shaving it all off. When the hair is long most people tend to think I look like Drew Brees or Bradley Cooper. When it is shaved I get a lot of Simon Pegg comments. Really, based off of these opinions, I should stick with the long hair. But, I am currently rocking it short. I mean, Pegg is charming. Right? Maybe. I don't know. I love walking around in my underwear. I wish I could get away with it much more often.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
In 2009 I graduated from Ithaca College with a double major in History and Drama. I finished grad school at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010 and completed my masters in Education. I recently moved back to Carolina after a three-year stint in New York City working as a teacher at an inner city high school in The Bronx.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people smile or feel better. I give great advice. I am told my stories are the best. I am pretty solid at striking up a conversation with strangers. I feel like I dress pretty well. I like to cook. And, I am a boss at finger football.
The first things people usually notice about me

Most people usually comment on my smile. I have heard it is quite the killer.

I have also gotten a lot of compliments on my eyes. I have never thought they were anything special, but even my students have told me I have pretty eyes. Kind of creepy, right?

Books: The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Fight Club, Choke (and anything else by Chuck Palahniuk, I have read them all), Dune, and many more. I am a big fan of re-reading.

Movies: Inception, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Lord of the Rings, Cinderella Man, The Fountain, Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, The Social Network, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, War Horse, Across the Universe, Avatar, Star Wars, Beauty and the Beast, and, really, countless others. I sometimes go to the movies by myself when I get bored.

Shows: How I Met Your Mother, Glee, Californication, Project Runway, Game of Thrones, Wilfred, The League, 30 Rock, Modern Family, Flight of the Conchords, SportsCenter.

Music: Ben Folds, Ben Folds Five, Muse, Coldplay, Amy Winehouse, Fleetwood Mac, Mumford and Sons, Rolling Stones, and, of course, The Beatles.

Food: ALL OF IT. But, I love Italian the most. I also am partial to a good burrito. And, I love fried food. You could fry your couch and I would probably want to eat it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- My friends, whether they be true friends or the ones I make for a few hours in a random encounter.
- Music
- A nice gentle breeze
- Books
- The gym
- My paints
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everything. Literally. I have honestly thought about anything from "Why didn't I think of Spongebob?" to "How does bread become toast?" to "How big is the universe?".
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually hanging out with friends or trying to be social in some way, shape, or form.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I deeply and profoundly love Project Runway.

I don't understand how or why a surprisingly large number of the women on this site have no clue how to style their eyebrows. I mean, seriously, it baffles me.
