My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Just a Suzy Bishop looking for her Sam Shakusky.

Semi-cyclophobic; there's a mildly sad/kinda funny story behind this. Ask me about it, I might tell you.

Breakfast for lunch or dinner is perfectly acceptable.

I love to bake and cook. LOVE. I surf food blogs when I'm supposed to be working, shhh don't tell anyone ;)

I love Wes Anderson, Judd Apatow, and Sofia Coppola films.

Coffee runs in my veins, not blood. As in, I need it to function once I wake up; an IV drip would be lovely. My name is Danielle and I'm a caffeine addict.

I like going to music shows, random hole-in-the-wall cafés, wandering around museums, movies, and discovering new places to eat and become obsessed with.

Staying in and watching the L&O: SVU marathon on USA is my favorite Sunday activity...let's be real, it's my favorite anytime activity.

Cinespia at Hollywood Forever is a frequent outing during the summer.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now I make the lovely commute to Irvine Mon-Fri (yes, that is like 80 miles a day, good math skills) where I'm a Legal Assistant/Paralegal for a women's fashion company.

Prior to April 2013, I worked in LA for 3 years, and that's where a lot of my friends and old haunts are, so I'm there quite frequently too.

I workout 2-3 times a week, mostly spin. Fitness is you can eat whatever you want and not regret it duh :D.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Baking. Like, fer realz, I'll make you fat.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes? I don't know, follow me around and then poll the people I interact with.

Food: Pretty much everything, but plain tomatoes, can stay away. On a sandwich, salad, burger - nope. Salsa, ceviche, pasta sauce - awesome. Cucumbers can hang out with the plain tomatoes and stay away, too. Pickles, however, are delicious.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Assuming we're not talking about things I literally can't live without (because let's be real, that's boring):
- Coffee.
- iPhone on which I listen to Nerdist and You Made It Weird with Pete Holmes during my long commute.
- Chapstick (Some guy actually said he hated it when girls said this. To that I say, I don't care to learn anymore about your sandpaper lip fetish, sir.)
- Whatever book I'm currently reading.
- My leather jacket which I practically live in.
- I'll think of something else that's deep, yet totally relatable, later.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

Traveling to Europe, I need a vacation. Or Palm Springs, always down for a stay cation.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Rejoicing that my workout routine doesn't start again until the next week, going to the movies, getting coffee with buddies, heading out to a dive bar or an improv show, catching up on my stories/watching netflix/hulu, ballin'.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a soft spot for Celine Dion. "My Heart Will Go On" gets me every time, especially in the grocery store when I'm in the baking aisle. I weep.

Also, I love Nicolas Cage. Don't ask, I really can't explain it. Bad Lieutenant-Port of Call: New Orleans was genius. And yes, I own Ghost Rider.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
- You know who Sam Shakusky and Suzy Bishop are and agree that the quote, "I love you, but you don't know what you're talking about." encompasses what a great relationship is all about.
- You're genuine, intelligent and compassionate with a relatively dark sense of humor.
- You want to grab coffee or a drink. I'm a firm believer that caffeine and/or alcohol help everything, but especially first dates.
- You would like to :)
