My self-summary

Consummate thing-doer. Fixer of the broken and tweaker of the working.

Displaced Northerner in London to turn things off and on again so films can happen. Winter is coming etc.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working in vfx, fixing Tractors on the render farm (ooarr). Gradually sneaking into development through the back door. Turns out the password was 'Jeff'.

Playing games both cardboard and computer. I help run a (semi) regular board game meetup, and on a weekend I often participate in tournaments dotted around the commuter belt.

When I'm not gallivanting to such exotic destinations as Reading and Brighton I'll either be practising my instruments (mainly Sax and teaching myself bass/guitar) or flopped in front of Netflix.

Usually Netflix.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
After a few years off I’ve recently started getting back into music; playing the Saxophone and messing about with Logic.

I love to cook and am always keen to expand my repertoire. I try not to be reliant on recipes past the first couple of times, which is certainly more fun in a ready steady cook “What have I got in my cupboardses” kind of way.

Being a cat bed.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
A somewhat puzzled smile.

I like it spicy, Mexican is a particular favourite to cook and to eat.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Morning coffee(s) - to kickstart the day
Thunderstorms - sky cracking downpours to clear the air and make everything feel fresh.
Imagination - to pass the time if nothing else.
Google maps'd up smartphone - for when I lose myself
That thing - you know, it does the stuff.
The blood of the innocent - because reasons.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Am I bored enough at work to actually do some work yet.

How about now?

Did I leave the door on/feed the oven/lock the cat.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Plotting the downfall of a corrupt government, exposing the secrets of nefarious corporations, rampaging through Tokyo, or saving the world from Eldritch Monstrosities; all from the safety and comfort of a local pub.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I derive a disproportionate amount of satisfaction from wearing odd socks.
