Like most people i'm not crazy about summarizing my life in a paragraph or 2 but here's a little about me. I love biking around the city, hanging out in the park, drinking a beer on a patio...when the weather allows, and obviously all of those things are better with good friends. For better or worse I'm passionate about the things I like and I don't tend to waver in my values. It gets me into spirited debates often but a good argument every now and then is pretty fun.

I recently finished culinary school and I'm working in that industry and loving it. I generally spend my off time hanging out at home for a quiet night in trying new recipes and watching movies or out with a few friends sharing a pitcher at a local bar.

Last year I made a pretty big change, I quit my easy office job and signed up for chef school. After graduating I finally have a job (as a cook) I am passionate about and actually look forward to going to.

I've also started learning how to fix my bike and restore an old bike to new. I love working with my hands so it's been a lot of fun.

...clichéd dating thing, but i'm a pretty decent date night cook. I make a mean steak and potatoes.

I'd also like to think im good at fixing things but maybe it's that I just like trying.

My glasses. They're newish and people seem to like them.

My voice. I've been told be many that I have a great announcer voice.

My tattoos. Full arm tattoo kind of stands out i guess.

books: any vonnegut, Hitchhikers Guide to the galaxy, Catch-22, Still Life with Woodpecker, Strangers in Paradise, 1984, Elegant Universe, David Sedaris. Just reread the Hobbit

movies: goodfellas, airplane, wet hot american summer, any Kubrick movie, planet earth, castle in the sky, the other guys

shows: walking dead, breaking bad, archer, newsradio, Portlandia, Arrested Development, Good Eats, classic simpsons and futurama

music: neutral milk hotel, pedro the lion, cold war kids, local natives, Wooden Sky, The Stills, ELO, the Band, Ben Folds, LCD Soundsystem

food: There's not a lot I don't like but BBQ, sandwiches, burrittos, comfort food are all pretty close to my heart.
