I am your average human, doing human stuff.
I'm learning computer science in college. I closely follow the progress of technology. I am aware of the most important recent developments in AI, as well as science.

I believe computers will best us at anything by 2030 or so (I think Moore's Law will last at least until then).
I am disgusted by religion, by appeals to emotion, and by stupidity. All decisions should be based on reason and evidence.

I believe we have a duty to keep this world habitable for future generations. More specifically, I think we should invest more in nuclear fusion. I also believe mixed economies are the best. Just look at the Nordic Model!

I hate wars, and I think no war is good. I'm a pacifist. I like to think I'm open sexually, but I've never explored that avenue to the length I'm willing to go.

I'm always in search of truth. If you ever think I've got something wrong, challenge my beliefs!
I figured the best way to aid the search for truth is to improve the tools for doing that: machine learning!
I'm very moral, and I criticize and/or make fun of people around me who don't seem to be. Any questions?

Computers - I know my way around them (I dual-boot Linux). I am good at programming and understand machine learning.
I like digital painting and 3D modeling from time to time.
I'm also good at science (physics, especially).
I'm exquisite at English.

My quirky sense of humor and my critical thinking.

1984, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Accelerando, War of the Worlds and Marshall Brain's Manna.

I love philosophical movies, and lately I've started watching some horror ones as well.
Some of my favorite movies:
2001: A Space Odyssey, Secretary, The Time Machine, WarGames, Eyes Wide Shut, Dr. Strangelove and most of Stanley Kubrick's other movies, Idiocracy, Religulous, Ace Ventura...

My favorite shows are Seinfeld, Friends, Futurama, Star Trek (TNG as well), and I'll even admit Desperate Housewives, but I've rarely seen a series to the end.

As for music, I enjoy almost anything with the exception of rap or hip-hop. I have to mention Tool, Muse, Abba, Dido, Enya, Bach.

I don't have a favorite dish, I just dislike soups and meat having cartilage nearby.

Debating atheism on Omegle, watching a movie, browsing the Internet, fiddling with some software tool/technique. Sometimes, very rarely though, I go out.

I started suspecting that my becoming more outgoing due to alcohol is just the placebo effect.
