What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Helping special and at-risk populations improve their physical, mental, and emotional health through creative strength and cardiovascular exercise. When I'm not leading a shadow-boxing session or dropping a beat to maintain target heart rate, you can find me chopping wood for backyard bonfires or cross training at low elevations with minimal ice climbing gear. Summers evenings involve scoping the stars on rooftops, while dawn provides the appropriate backdrop for aquatic yoga.

In the past, after cartooning biochemical concepts with chalk or deciphering cryptographic penmanship, I dug: casting shadows with chainsaws where canopies once fell, carving caverns for Caterpillars, cocooning fractured hydraulic lines, crunching through topsoil, and other Sisyphean responsibilities.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Skating down slippery slopes.
Digesting graphs and pie charts alike.
Juggling breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Belting Broadway show-tunes.
Cuing backspin and sinking prophets.
Kayaking through kelp.
Savoring cold-pressed olive oil.
Quilting refined molecular products.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Uptempo swagger and predilection for conversation.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Damien Marley & Nas, el tubo elástico, God is and Astronaut, the Alchemystics, Moonlit Sailor, Greydon Square, Bob Dylan, Germaine Williams, the Band, and of course Sigur Rós.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Mountain peaks.
Coffee infused with coconut oil.
Circus equipment.
A space for sun salutations.
The time between percussive breaths.
Green and purple vegetables.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Break-dancing steps, adaptive movement, quantum philosophy, bioethics, symmetry, apiary construction, trail restoration, and recipe synthesis.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Swirling herbal teas, twisting my hips to hippy bands, leafing through open-access cosmology journals, devouring homemade quiche, beat-boxing at open mics, or dabbling in nostalgia while waxing poetically to the moon.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I listen to post-jazz ambient scores before the delta waves wash over.
