My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Daniel here. I enjoy music, comedy, the arts, the science--I'm a man of many interests and talents. You'll just have to find out.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm working and spending most of my time making music.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Witty banter, amazing puns (and other cringe-worthy jokes), carrying a tune, and trying new things. I'm apparently also fairly sassy.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm bad at first impressions especially if I'm trying to be sexy.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
TV: The Daily Show, Colbert Report, South Park, Parks and Rec, Bob's Burgers, New Girl, Masterchef: Junior, Broad City. I watch too much TV, and it's almost entirely comedy.

Movies: I like heartfelt, dramatic movies, cerebral comedies and documentaries, but mostly just TV shows.

Books: Most of my reading is non-fiction. I grew up reading science books, and still do occasionally, but mostly I just read journals online

Music: Nearly anything? I like rock, indie, blues, folk, jazz. I usually listen to music with my guitar. It's way more fun that way. There are virtually no barriers here (but you have to pretend to kinda like the music I make).

Food: I eat meat even though I know I shouldn't so much; there I said it. You were bacon me to say it. (SO many puns--I can turn it off, I swear)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. comedy
2. music (I practice hours daily; this isn't blather)
3. "I forgot, sorry. ....Oops." <--Rick Perry moments
4. a little mystery in the universe
5. spoons
6. like, gravity, man.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Life: where everything's made up and the points don't matter.

Trying to figure out how humans, and life, and religion, and money and society work. I think about music and art that I like. I think about thinking about things. What do you think about?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends! Drinking, blazing, finding the good music in town, cooking in and watching a film. Friday night is for fun!

Or if the week was long, fun can be staying in and jamming.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
This site makes me sad, because we all just want lovin, but it's so easy just to scroll. So, please say 'hey' even if it's all you can muster, because that's certainly better than nothing.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
But if you still need an excuse, here are some reasons to message me:

1) Just do it. I'll be cool; I swear.

2) You already think I'm cool and want to be proven wrong.

3) To combat gender norms.

4) You want to be my arch-nemesis.

5) You want to hang out on Friday.
