I'm a researcher in sustainability at a small consultancy company in Rotterdam as well as a technical teaching assistent at a high school.
I have a lot of energy and I'm not able to sit still for very long. That's why I love sporting and do that fanatically, even though I'll probably never reach the top, but that's fine.
I like design and architecture very much. I don't get too philosophical about it, but I think it's important for furniture and buildings to have some esthetic quality. It means however that I design and build my own furniture, because searching for nice designs takes a long time and buying designer stuff is really expensive. And designing and making things is very natural to me and a way of expressing myself. I don't do art, I do furniture!

Working, swordfighting for sports, generally building things like musical instruments, models etc. I love eating and sleeping!

Talking about whatever and showing my enthusiasm for the things that I love.
I love designing and building things. So far I've made an electric upright bass, sheds for bunnies a bed, synthesizer-like electronic instruments among others.

At first they do not notice that much, maybe that I'm tall. But when you get to know me, you will find that I tend to talk a lot about the stuff that I'm enthusiastic about.

I don't read that much, but recent books I liked were Lord of the Rings, Short History of nearly everything, a brief history of time (Stephen Hawking) and de ontdekking van de hemel. Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind is one of my all time favourites, just like Apocalyps Now. I really likes High fidelity and Secretary and always enjoy watching star wars again.
I have a broad taste for music, everything you can dance to, from EBM, industrial to house, dubstep etc. But also White lies, Editors. Jeugd van Tegenwoordig and some of the classics (Eric Clapton, Fleetwood Mac, Pet Shop Boys).
I love good food, like most cuisines and like to cook as well and make something special once in a while.

Cooking a nice dinner, but that goes for almost every night, I like to treat myself and my friends to nice foods.

I tend to talk too much, when I'm enthousiastic about something.
