I am not an ordinary atheistic , socialist and do try to be interesting, evocative, capable and tolerant. I try to appeal , or amuse myself, using edgy humour, shameless audacity and spontaneous wit & mischief.

I am interested in music ( a music nerd ) , psychology , philosophy, science , literature on humanism, some sport , eating & drinking out and my friends.

I am an amalgam of contradictory polarities but fundamentally ( & apparently ) quite interesting, moral and good fun.) If you are a bit kooky , a laugh , enlightened yet audaciously sexy, then stop and say hello to a groovy person who is looking to establish good friendships that may lead to something magical and beyond control.

I love Rock ' N' Roll.
Or Tom Waits, Radiohead, Black Keys, Ryan Adams, PJ Harvey, Aphex Twin ( & other ambient Warp bleeps ), Nirvana, Led Zep, Clash, Nick Cave, The The, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Portishead, Florence & Machine , Arcade Fire, Massive Attack, Johnny Cash, Jeff Mills, Talking Heads or something with a funky bassline. The list is exhaustive but you get the picture.

LITERATURE -
Kafka, Dostoevsky, Hesse, Marques (and most existential writers ) , Kerouac , Bukowkski, I. Welsh and anything with lift up flaps.

FILM-
Love The Coen Bros and odd leftfield independent stuff. Maybe the odd gangster flick but no Rom Coms ( weepy schoolgirl mush )

FOOD
Love eating out - French, Indian, Japanese ( am half Japanese so love my Fish, Sushi etc ) and Tapas, anything but cheese.
I love experimental cooking for others ( whilst i order takeaway ).

ENTERTAINMENT
I am no fan of shows and musicals ( willing to be challenged on anything ) but into live bands or festivals, theatre, stand up comedy, cheesey cabaret and art galleries. Football hardly gets a look in.

I do not have a TV so am uninterested in soaps and X Factor lazy reality TV but do watch documentaries, current affairs, science docs or news, comedy & films online.

Empathy, belongingness , compassion , curious wonder , self actualisation and a wiggle in my stride.

Wilma Flintstone - perhaps i have been single too long but i really fancy Wilma ( she's a babe ).

But seriously, i think about the the absurdity of behaviour, the vagaries of humankind, the improbabilistic nature of creation amongst the cosmos ( anti-matter, quantum gravitation and the Higgs-Boson particle )

Drinking cocktails in groovy bars wearing a semi-crushed velvet pattern on the left lapel of my smoking jacket whilst clicking my fingers to Serge Gainsbourg.
Either that or indoors watching MOTD ( sad i know ).
