I read a lot. Usually it's escapism or just basic
entertainment.
Most recently I finished "This Book is Full of Spiders" by David
Wong. If you've read it, or "John Dies at the End" then you gain
+10 points right out the gate.
Other recent titles have been The Paleo Solution, The Price of
Inequality, Going Clear (a book about Scientology and some of it's
wacky escapades, like infiltrating the IRS and slave labor),
Penpal, a book of Hemingway's short stories, and a few cook
books.
I also love to eat. One of my favorite things about colder weather
is the comfort food. However, I don't like sweets. Ice cream, cake,
candy, cookies or the like.. meh. No thanks. Italian is great,
Thai...I love spicy food. I could survive on chips and salsa or
nachoes. While I was vegetarian for a few years, I'm definitely not
now.
Tv and movies : American Werewolf in London, The Thing, A Fish
Called Wanda, Walking Dead, Gordon Ramsey cooking shows, Jeopardy,
Jacob's Ladder, Louie, Snatch, Workaholics, etc. I like to laugh
and I like to learn, so it usually revolves around that. I've
canceled my cable so tv watching isn't quite what it used to
be.
Music : Florence + the Machine, Clutch, Tool, low down dirty blues,
Professor Kliq, The Rugburns, MC 900 Ft. Jesus, 2 Short, Violent
Femmes, Elbow, The Ravonettes, Einsturzende Neubautren, Yeti,
Distopia, Propaghandi, etc. etc.
I'd say that I listen to a little bit of everything, but that's
another one of those phrases that's used so much that I avoid it.
Except for that whole, just used it thing. Woops.
