My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Transplant to Pgh from Amish Country, Do the 9-5 working database administration. I'm an introvert who doesn't like spending ALL my time at home, and enjoys spending time doing bizzare fun stuff or getting awesome food/beer.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I go Diner hopping, I'm into Gaming and I'm learning how to cook beyond the George Forman grill (honestly, feel free to send me recipes, I REALLY like cooking!

I wont bore you with technobabble with my job, although feel free to ask about it, it's...complex. I work one of those jobs that's a "Push wrong button, people DIE" sorta thing, so when Im not working, I like to go down to the strip and get some awesome beer, or even veg out and netflix it when everyone's exhausted. When the weather's nice, a trip to the park is always fun!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Going on tangents about how annoying hipsters are, trust me, I give it a special flair!

I can make some AMAZING curried mac and cheese, and shanghai noodles! and gehacktbrood!

Looking at people's pictures and seeing funny in the background.

mocking films, MST3K style
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Really differs in the context you meet me, I've been told vampire to book nerd. and honestly, I'm probably somewhere in the middle (what DO you notice? I'll probably fill this box here :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I totally have amazing taste in music, Although the Pittsburgh music scene's a little too "indie/folk" for my taste, and I have a love of metal/EBM/industrial (clearly the best music!) although I do love folk metal, such as Korpiklaani, Trollfest, etc, As well as Industrial Front Line Assembly, blutengel, Einsterzende Neubauten :wumpscut: and I LOVE Die Form and even VNV Nation

TV Shows: The Boondocks, The Mighty Boosh, How I Met Your Mother, Futurama, Trailer Park Boys the big bang theory ,Breaking Bad, portlandia, community Doctor Who
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Im sure these are pretty cliche, but total honestly, If I didn't have any of these six, id be probably lame to be around, unless someone was approaching me to offer me one of these six!

1. Caffiene
2. access to the internet in some way (I'm aware how terrible this is, but seriously, it'd be much)
3.mellow time. I generally sometimes would just like to read and not talk a whole lot, it's just how i mentally unwind, and when i dont have that, i just kinda get tired.
4. Friends. I am the type who has a small circle of really close friends. They are my anchor sometimes, and I've always been grateful.
5. something to study. Whether it be via work, or at home if work is slow, I like to learn new things, which could be anything from science, history, or how some weird euro sport is played, etc
6. self agency. Not in the "MURICA! FREEDOM" sense, but the ability to make and voice my opinion on something with honesty, and accept that others may or may not like it, while not impeding on others the same right.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Having grown up outside of pgh, I very quickly note the yinzer accent, which amuses me far more than it should. Whenever I hear someone passionately, angrily refer to someone as a "Jagoff", it takes every ounce of my self control to keep myself from laughing :\
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Depends on the Friday. Sometimes Im out with coworkers getting fancy European beer, other times checking out a new show or game. Other times I'm hanging out with family. Honestly, I don't really plan for Friday specifically. (honestly, anyone who has a legit consistent answer for this question is probably working that Friday.)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Never been a huge fan of this question, I'm generally a private person, but totally open up to the right people.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you like what you've read. Or have fun recipies/games/movies/shows/music to introduce to me.

Also, if you like to mock friends and loved ones, and want to conspire, that'd be pretty sweet.

When it comes to dating, If you're the kinda girl who is independent, has life goals, but doesn't get all hyper type A personality about it, and generally wants to go out for weird food/beer, go to the nerdy cons in monroeville, or get coffee.
