My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
On a good day, I am curious, engaged, lighthearted, funny (hilarious in fact), extroverted, interested, magnetic. I move with ease and grace and create without effort. On a bad day... I strive at having as few of those as possible, but if they happen, I might contemplate the meaning of life while I focus my undivided attention on a bar of dark chocolate.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
After years of making artwork for video games, I'm reinventing myself as a grad student in counseling. Yes, quite a change. I've traded the good and familiar, but oh-so-boring company of young men with insatiable thirst for virtual melee for the questionable company of emotionally volatile women. Some days I still can't believe it. At the same time, I can't wait until they let me loose to work with clients. People are fascinating. The stories we tell ourselves and believe in, the subtext underneath the surface. Tell me your unique distortion of reality and I promise I will do my best to see it your way. And I really want to help. Really.

I continuously try to find time to do my art (nothing to do with games) between reading and writing papers, sometimes I succeed. I find life boring without travel and like to do at least one big trip a year, preferably abroad. When I'm not traveling I seek new experiences in my dreams.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Argentine Tango, climbing, standing on my head, helping a friend in need, listening, asking questions a 5-year old would find interesting, conversation, self-reflection, seeking and finding adventure, tasteful jokes, appreciating nuance, poise and grace.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Trick question. We don't know how people perceive us, only how we want to be perceived.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: Master and Margarita, 100 Years of Solitude, Twelve chairs, The Alchemist, Love in the Time of Cholera, Mumin Troll, Unbearable lightness of being, anything by Edward Gorey, children's books with great illustrations;

Music: Ludovico Einaudi, Emancipator, Idan Raichel, Federico Aubele, Bombay Dub Orchestra, Purple Prose, Putomayo compilations;

Food in no specific order: avocado, dark chocolate, eggs benedict, blueberries, dark rye, green tea cream, shiitake mushrooms, rainbow roll, asparagus, trout, red wine, hummus, bruschetta, thai eggplant with basil, lamb, duck, garlic naan, mango with sticky rice, flourless chocolate cake, prosciutto, champagne... that seems like a good note to end on.

I don't own a TV.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to take over the world... or at least tame watercolor. How to narrow the gap between what life is and I what I want it to be. Why they still haven't installed 2 additional women's bathrooms for every men's in all public places. What I did with my keys. What my life looks like 5 years from now.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working on illustrations for a picture book I wrote, or out dancing tango, or having dinner with a friend.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
There is a special tree in GG park, which I visit when I need a break. I climb one of its trunks and rest on it with the canopy over my head. Those are precious moments.

You think we'll have lots to talk about, and also have comfortable moments of silence. If you know that the more you learn, the less you know, but you keep learning anyway. If you are able to laugh at yourself in the hardest of times. If my words resonate with you. Or if you just want to go climbing some time.
