My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm me. This is expanded upon below. You should read it if you're interested in such things.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Full time, I work at a company that provides hospitals and other medical facilities with information systems. Part time I work as stage hand at various live music venues in and around Boston.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people laugh. I make it a point to try to have a positive impact on the people that I encounter (obviously especially friends), and humor seems to be the least I can do. Playing other people's music on a guitar (I'm terrible at writing my own). I have an impeccable sense of time and direction.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I tend to be quiet in crowds, so maybe that?

But then my laugh, which can be....loud.

Physically? Probably my eyes. They're very blue.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I'm constantly listening to talk radio. My car radio is perpetually set to NPR, and generally only changes when I turn my iPod on.

Stephen King, R.A. Salvatore, George R. R. Martin, Chuck Palahniuk, Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman, Dan Brown, Carl Sagan, Richard Dawkins. Currently re-reading The Song of Ice and Fire series.

Donnie Darko, Fight Club, Snatch, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Idiocracy, Memento, The Big Lebowski, Pulp Fiction, Dr. Horrible's Singalong Blog (does that count as a movie?).

Breaking Bad, Doctor Who, Hannibal, Fargo (show and movie), Sherlock, Sons of Anarchy, anything and everything by Joss Whedon and J.J. Abrams (well...maybe not Felicity).

Jonathan Coulton, They Might Be Giants. Mastodon, Pantera, Disturbed, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Tool, Queensryche, System of a Down, Down, Black Sabbath. I'm on a bit of a Panic at the Disco kick lately. A bit poppy-er than I normally enjoy, but they're fantastic. (Especially live).

Food? I'd have to say Japanese, although I actually don't really like Sushi. But I'm usually up for anything. I can always find something I like.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My friends, family, guitar, cell phone, computer, coffee.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Politics, Music, stuff, things, whatnot so-forth.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I love going to the movies, so if there's a movie I want to see, I'll usually be there when it opens on a Friday night.

I might be at a bar watching a local band if someone I enjoy is playing nearby.

I play poker in a pub league, so maybe that if I'm bored.

Maybe at the gym? I guess I don't really have a typical Friday night.

But mostly I just like spending time with any of my friends. Getting some dinner, a beer or two, talking, whatever. To me the company is more important than the activity.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm terrified of any insect larger than an ant. No problem with Arachnids, though. I'm weird.
