My self-summary
I'm random, quixotic and painfully logical. A life-long lover of knowledge and exploration of the unknown. I'm the type who runs through thunderstorms and explores underground tunnels, and then sits down at the local bookstore to read everything I can.

I'm an extremely social person, fearless in making friends on a whim. I credit it to my listening skills, which I have been consciously working on for years. I'll be there to listen if you need to talk, and I won't even make suggestions on how to remedy the situation. I'm the one that you can lean on when you've had a bad day.
What I’m doing with my life
I used to be a pretty decent software engineer, then I was an excellent operations manager at a domestic abuse shelter. Then three years ago, I became a city planner. It's been a crazy and wild ride, but I have a career now that I'm passionate about and building a life with some measure of stability in it. I'm looking to build a home here in Rancho Cucamonga, spend time with the people I love and care about, and live life. Maybe take up a few hobbies in my spare time.

That's the nice and boring side of things. On the more exciting side, I intend to explore the unknown edges of existence. Doesn't matter what it is. If it's an unknown frontier, I've got to get there. Recently, I backpacked through Australia and went all the way to the southernmost point of Tasmania. Looking to do more trips like that in the future. Exploring an unknown frontier could also be something simple as learning to play the harmonica (which I can assure you has not been easy).
I’m really good at
Breathing, and dancing! But I'm much better with the first, having done it for some 29 years.

I'm also good at: getting lost in my own head, making others laugh, singing in the rain, air bending, counting the number of tiles are in my ceiling (currently zero), and exploring the metaphysical boundaries of life.
