My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm random, quixotic and painfully logical. A life-long lover of knowledge and exploration of the unknown. I'm the type who runs through thunderstorms and explores underground tunnels, and then sits down at the local bookstore to read everything I can.

I'm an extremely social person, fearless in making friends on a whim. I credit it to my listening skills, which I have been consciously working on for years. I'll be there to listen if you need to talk, and I won't even make suggestions on how to remedy the situation. I'm the one that you can lean on when you've had a bad day.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I was a pretty decent software engineer, then an excellent operations manager (at a domestic abuse shelter). And now, I'm a city planner, working at a private consulting firm. It's a startup firm, with all the usual challenges and rewards. I'm out at a lot of networking events and mixer, and always on the prow for new business opportunities to keep my people employed. Getting back on OkCupid now that I have my career set and I know where I'll be for the next few years.

And when I'm free? I like to hike, dance, walk around and explore neighborhoods, go to the beach, Netflix stuff, play board games, read/learn just about anything. I go on a lot of Meetups, looking for a taste of things I've yet to experienced.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Breathing, and dancing! But I'm much better with the first, having done it for some 28 years.

I'm also good at: getting lost in my own head, making others laugh (not sure if they're laughing at me or with me), singing in the rain, airbending, counting the number of tiles are in my ceiling, and exploring the metaphysical boundaries of life.

My dream is to someday have a wooden oak bookshelf in a mansion high up in the Alps. It would be completely empty except for a single item: a Kindle-type device with all of my books on it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1.) Hope
2.) Spinach
4.) I pretty much don't need anything else.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I'm looking for a long-term relationship because I just can't stand the idea of losing someone anymore. It takes way too much to get to know someone, to fall in love with them and then to have them walk out of your life. One of my favorite quotes is: "It takes you an hour to like someone, a day to love them, but a lifetime to forget them."
