My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Thanks for having a look. I'm a 48 year old father of two unbelievable young men. I am at a place in my life now where I can be fairly certain about who I am and that I have room in my life and heart for someone to share my life. I seek a beautiful woman inside and out to be my best friend and partner.

I'm pretty active. I like to ski in the winter (when I can) and to everything from biking, kayaking, golf and whatever else pops onto the scene in summer. I'd like to learn to paddleboard.

I exercise very consistently, and can honestly say that I am in as good shape now as I have ever been. Cleaned up the diet a bit lately, and added yoga ( which I never thought I'd try, much less admit) to weights and cardio.

What I like most is thinking, talking and laughing. This is where you come in. I have a nice social circle but really do feel ready to have 'her' as the person who shares it all.

Hope your search goes well and is at least entertaining, and promise that I'm a friend worth having, regardless of whatever else may come for you, me and perhaps us.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Pretty non traditional career path. Spent nine years in the military as a Navy SEAL. Lots of great stories there, and I don't mind telling them, however I don't think this experience defines me as much as many people assume. (lots of guys lie about having been a SEAL, I know cuz I catch em).

Spent early married life in the quasi-corporate world (small mathematical business) and then dabbled in politics for a while.

I currently host a daily radio talk show which is a great way to stay engaged with the world. While my show involves many political subjects, I'm not extreme here in any way. It's just something I know a lot about.

In addition to this I am beginning work at a crisis management firm in media relations. I also do some writing and think I might be rather good at it. Time will tell.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
OK, hard question to answer without sounding like a jerk. I'd say I'm good at communication. I do honestly believe in sharing ideas, thoughts, feelings.

I don't know for certain. I sometimes get that I project a stern serious demeanor. I really don't mean to but I have heard it enough times that there must be something there. I think that perhaps because I literally do 'talk' for a living, I am sometimes quiet and simply listening most of the rest of the time.

I'm not 'that guy', at all, if you know me. Life is fun, and funny. I live that way.

Books: there are lots. From where I am sitting writing this I see 'The Last Stand', 'Team of Rivals', and 'Too Big to Fail' as a snapshot.

I love movies. To list favorites would be impossible, so let's redefine the question.

Latest seen in theatre: Argo. Simply outstanding, in a throwback '70's kinda way..
Latest watched on TV: Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Red Box). Disturbingly brilliant.
Funniest: Bridesmaids. Do yourself a favor and google the out-takes.
One that I love that I don't usually admit: Out of Africa.

Home, out to a movie or maybe bouncing around to see some friends. I'd rather be trying something new with my date.

My first girlfriend broke up with me when I was 14 mainly because I hadn't quite finished a peanut butter cookie when she decided to kiss me.
