My self-summary
I love exploring, learning, and making. I'm logical, but need to be surrounded with art, creativity and eccentricity.

I've found this joke to be a good test for compatibility:

Three logicians walk into a bar.
Bartender: Do you all want a drink?
Logician 1: I don't know.
Logician 2: I don't know.
Logician 3: Yes.

Didn't think that's funny? There's still hope, continue reading...
What I’m doing with my life
I moved to SF from NYC in January 2013 to join a startup, now I run most of the engineering. We're making the world a better place through constructing elegant hierarchies for maximum code reuse and extensibility. What are YOU doing?

Before that I got a PhD in math from UCSB, which is the award they give you when you finally know how much you don't know.

Professional stuff aside, I was pretty into fire spinning for a while, now I'm taking classes at Tech Shop in my spare time to get into furniture making. First project is a headboard.

I'm also thinking of starting a math meetup. That way, the ladies will come to me, instead of putting in all this OK Cupid effort. Let me know if you're interested!
