Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Time has come to update this profile. I keep it open because I am
somewhat fond of it and the memories that go with it but, let's
face it, I am not looking for anyone to date. I was before, and
that is what got me here and surely you too, but I am not now
because it worked. I met a splendid woman here and that never stops
making me happy. Just as a matter of interest the matching
algorithm seems to work. My partner and I are a 98% match and even
though it's no proof it's a positive result. It only makes sense,
it doesn't really add up that anyone could get on great with
someone whom they had nothing in common with. Just one word of
caution: be aware of what you are getting into because the cyber
world looks small but the real world is not. Even though we are in
contact all the time, living at 5600 miles distance makes seeing
each other very difficult. Fixing the distance snag will take some
time especially because among the two of us we have 4 children
living with us. Still we manage and we will manage. After all
Puerto Rico is far away but New Zealand would have been double the
distance. We have managed for the better part of 2 years but at
times it seems a lot less other times a lot more.
Another reason this profile stays open is that I met some very nice
women whom I have really liked chatting with. This is also a place
to make new friends.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to fix a 7600km distance problem with my partner, taking
care of my 2 splendid children, working a lot and dreaming of going
places more often than I actually manage to go. You might have come
across me because you found me poking around your profile. Yes, I
actually do that. I keep getting messages from okc telling me about
my “matches” and although I am not looking for a partner I am
really quite curious as to why.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Quite a few things but since mostly I take care of my kids and run
my little company, I like to think I do that well enough and that I
am good at it. Whatever I do I it with care.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I switch from Italian to English based on who I'm talking to. I am
told that I sound like two different people. I guess that i because
I grew up with both languages before I could study either.
Other people notice that I talk a lot and I listen just as much.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My techie implements (these count as quite a few),
My bicycle (I cycle through Rome even though it can be pretty
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to build a teleporter. Even though I used to be a physicist
(haven't been doing much of that since I moved into IT) still I
don't seem to be making much progress. Having my partner in the
Caribbean it would be really useful.
My job requires a lot of thinking, a good bit of creativity and
intuition. At times I try to relax and not think too hard.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Practicing taichi and later playing with my children.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!

For any reason. Even if you are just curious or if you have some
question on how a relationship started on okc can work. As I said,
I am not looking for a date but I am happy to make new friends.
