My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
moved to Denver last year when I transferred colleges, born in Hong Kong to American parents, grew up in the SF Bay Area, came to Denver after spending a few years at a college south of Seattle and am trying to get what I'm actually gonna do in a couple years worked out in some detail

have traveled around most of my life, have done trips around the world and have also crossed the US and Canada by road a few times, either driving myself or hitch-hiking, I need to keep moving around or else I start going crazy seeing the same things everyday

I am awful at writing about myself and never know what to put down and what to omit, so if you want to know more, I dunno, talk to me

haven't actually used this thing in about a year, was in a serious relationship that just recently ended, looking for people to hang out with whatever the endgame, my social universe is right now very tiny and that's something I'm trying to fix, just not very hard
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Getting bachelor's, trying to become a journalist if the job still exists by the time I'm out

being a highly intelligent yet directionless slacker cliche straight out of some shit 90s movie

I alternate my summers between visiting family in the UK and going off on random journeys through the rest of Europe while I'm at it and being whitewater-trash in Southern Oregon, with the 6 weeks off DU gives us in winter used for bumming around the Third World, last one was to Central America
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
writing, directions, finding weird hidden places, making a point, asking questions

making whiskey disappear

my greatest skill is saying things that sound completely insane at the time only to be proven right within a few months or years, it's happened a ridiculous amount of times over the strangest things
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
when I have a beard, it has almost as much ginger-red as it does brown hair

When I don't, I just look like standard-issue tall and skinny dude

Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
a wide plethora of things, the biggest upside of severe ADHD is the ability to daydream vividly

where I'm going to travel to next

where I'm going to live after Denver
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Wandering Denver aimlessly, studying or laying in bed streaming crap with a massive joint in my hand
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I spent most of my teenage years in tiny, isolated boarding schools in hyper-rural areas with zero internet access and three-day old newspapers so I missed out on most things that happened from 2005 to 2008, it's something that I can explain more of in person but suffice it to say my teenage years were weird as hell

one good thing about it was the time on my hands to read tons of books of all kinds, which allows me to already seem obnoxiously overeducated despite being only halfway through a bachelor's degree

you're up to do something, I was in a committed relationship for the past year and haven't really branched out much in Denver so meeting cool people is something I want to do, whatever the endgame is
