My Self-Summary
Hi there! Maybe we're a match, or maybe not. Here are a few things
about me off the top of my head. Traits of mine that are easily
noticed are my respectfulness, intelligence, open-mindedness,
general integrity, explorative, and affectionate. I have interests
in ESP and the mind,
music, art, travel, exploration, the outdoors/hikes,
new things, and new friends. I have some fun friends who like to
get together for happy hours, and local events. I am
not interested in having kids of my own, though a ready-made family
can be OK.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a partner in an Internet travel company, specializing in
international travel. I also teach at Mesa College part-time on the
side. Aside from working out of the home, I do a lot of research
toward a book series that will be on ESP and facets of the
paranormal,
particularly how they relates to philosophy, physics, and the
nature of "mind/consciousness." Its a career path, so when I spend
some time writing
and reading it
counts as "time working for the man," not as free time that my date
should be jealous of. I have plenty of time to spend with her
(potentially you) regardless. After growing up in Connecticut, I
went to the University of Maryland followed by San Diego State for
degrees in Astronomy. I can take you out to see the stars and tell you all about
them.
I’m really good at
I've always had an active imagination and desire to explore. Thus, travel and adventure both locally and afar
are high on my list, including hikes and visiting "art towns" or other unique spots. Highlights
include a road trip around western Canada and 15 days in Iceland
and Greenland. But sports and other outdoors activities are always good as
well. The latest rally with a volleyball, tennis, or billiards is seldom like the one
before it. I enjoy basketball and occasional cycling too. My explorer
side also enjoys a broad variety of music, local Art Walk events, wine tasting,
movies/shows, and
new spots to eat or catch a coffee/tea. My sense of humor is fine. It pops out morea nd more
as I date someone. But I never can remember a good joke I've heard!
I'm firstly a good conversationalist and a good listener.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Like to open the windows and listen to the rain. Daydream. Like
typical "guy" movies (action/sci-fi/fantasy/drama) and comedy.
Shows: Lost, Fringe, spy shows, comedy. I enjoy a broad range of
music, but not much rap/country. But I get a bit tired of shows
about hospitals, lawyers (unless its funny like Ally McBeal), or
CSI. I like to travel and explore: Iceland, Aruba, Puerto Rico,
Costa Rica, Canada, a good road trip with tunes, and Main Street
USA. Locally, I like wine bars, happy hour spots, scenic
parks, beach areas, and reading at a
hotel bar/lounge or coffee/tea spot. The Santa Margarita River
Trail in Fallbrook.
The six things I could never do without
Friendship, music, art, relatives, writing, exploring/travel.
On a typical Friday night I am
I may be out with friends at Happy Hour or a movie. If no one is
available, I could be reading or seeing family.
