My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am now off the dating grid. I have met a wonderful woman. Best of luck to you.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Enjoying it and looking for someone to enjoy it with: someone who can enjoy the simplest joys, like watching the Pats play on a Sunday afternoon, visiting a museum on a rainy day; or just browsing a bookstore, would be perfect.

My work is very structured and mostly enjoyable, once it is over I leave it behind till the next day or till after the weekend.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking: Stir Fry and Sauces are a specialty of mine.

Writing: I do not do it often, but I write very well: horror tales, poetry and I dabble in erotica from time to time.

Listening: Yes, a man who does listen...believe it or not!

Empathizing: I play Devil's Advocate almost too well. It is in my nature to always look at both sides of an's the only way to be sure. Unless the answer is obvious...Evolution Deniers need not apply.

Being Romantic: It's Tuesday so I brought you (something I know you like) I am famous for R.A.A. (Random Acts of Affection)

Now let us flip the Coin.

I'm really bad at:
Juggling: sorry...was that expensive?
Understanding why people do some of the stupid shit they do.
Lying. Don't do it well and don't ever see the need.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My Hair: very Blond.

Maybe my eyes, they are a deep gray. I have been told they are very sensual: which does suit my personality.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Right now I am reading The Better Angels of Our Nature by Steven Pinker.
Dune (Frank Herbert's six books; not his detestable hack of a son)
Lord the Rings
The Dark Tower
Ghost Story (best horror novel ever imo)
The last 3 HP books. I re-read these for pleasure every year or so.

Science Based Medicine.

Christopher Htchens (if only I could write with such wit - and drink as much top shelf scotch!)
Stephen King
Sam Harris
Richard Dawkins
Stephen Kinzer ( I am a big history buff.)
Agatha Christie. I love Poirot.
Shakespeare. (Henry IV. esp. If you have not heard it with Richard Griffiths as Falstaff, go to the BPL and get the Arkangel CD's ASAP.)

The Princess Bride (everyone says this one, and everyone is right!),
Dawn of the Dead. (Best Horror movie of all time.)
Shaun of the Dead. (Best Spoof of all time.)
Secondhand Lions. (very warm and sweet)
The Haunting. (Camera angles can be scary)
Robin Hood (The Erol Flynn version)
Anything Mel Brooks up until Men in Tights.
Monty Python.
The Last 3 Batman Movies.
The Human Centipede (kidding! Kidding!)

Shows: The Soup
Robot Chicken NFL Football
Iron Chef America Chopped Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.
Daily Show, The Young Turks, Real Time with Bill Maher....gee can you guess my socio-political stance?

I listen to a lot of Podcasts: Skeptics Guide, Caustic Soda, Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me! Penn's Sunday School. Cognitive Dissonance, Hardcore History.

Music: Devin Townsend (current favourite), Peter Gabriel, Pink Floyd, Dream Theater, Evanescence. Vivaldi, Diana Krall. Red Hot Chili Peppers. Tori Amos.
I have a passion for complex music with powerful singers

Food: All Kinds. I am very good cook. I enjoy mixing foods from different ethnic areas: Pasta Sauce with Herbs de Provance and Harissa would be a good example. I have a talent for trying something at a restaurant and then trying to make it as good or better at home. I make a Chipotle Chicken and Corn Chowder that 100x better than the one at California Pizza Kitchen. I would love to find someone special to go through Zagats with, one place at a time.

The best thing I have ever eaten is the Dobin Mushi at Fugakyu in Brookline...The nectar of the Gods! I only wish I could get the Dashi right, it's the one thing that I just can't prepare properly.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music: I could not live happy without it!
Conversation: I love learning about people and discussing almost anything
Passion: About everything: from loving to learning.
Laughter: Two blondes walk into a Bar: one ducks.
Education: Critical Thinking is sadly not taught nearly enough. What good is knowledge without the ability to use it?
Friends: I have a couple of dear, awesome friends, and that is how I like it.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Too many things to say, you will have to talk with me.

Why do you drive on a parkway, but park in a driveway?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I freely admit I am a home-body. I am often just at home relaxing, other times out with friends, and sometimes just out on my own. When out, I am all over Boston, seeing a movie, a show, hitting a museum, listening to a band play. I am not a sports fan beyond Football.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am not a member of the Illuminati...or am I?
