My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, welcome to my profile. I'm a recent graduate who loves music and travel. I'm a little bit of a nerd at heart but also a friendly and sociable guy. I have a good sense of humor and am generally out-going and likeable. I love movies, dvd boxsets and British comedies. When I'm not doing that you can usually find me out on the town catching up with friends and some live music.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just recently graduated from Uni and am now a qualified English/Media teacher. Currently looking for jobs in the education industry.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Judging people on their spelling and grammar, while being terrible at both.
- Memorizing the track lists of every cd in my collection (that will come in handy)
- Talking about music when drunk and boring the pants off all my friends.
- Being a bad morning person. I don't like mornings at all and until recently tried to avoid them at all costs.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile actually. Sounds conceited I know, but people have commented on it before. Or I could say something awesome, like my bad-ass attitude. Take your pick.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I read a lot because as an English teacher it is essentially that I am up to date. Loved George Orwell's '1984'. Currently reading Nick Hornby's 'How to be Good'. Love reading the anything from the classics to the more obscure. Also read a lot of music magazines. Recently became obsessed with all things Hunger Games. Don't hold it against me.

Movies: I love watching all kinds of films of all genres. Love indie films and foreign films as much as I love watching Hollywood blockbusters. My favorite directors are probably the Coen Brothers. Some recent highlights would be Black Swan, True Grit and I'm Not Scared. Love The Life of Brian and anything else Monty Python. Big fan of Tarantino and Kubrick among many others.

TV: My favorite TV shows are probably The Sopranos, Mad Men, Deadwood and Breaking Bad. Anything HBO really. Currently making my way through Arrested Development, after which I have five seasons of The Wire to get through. Love British comedies like Black Books, The Office, Extras, Peep Show, Fawlty Towers. Also a big fan of Flight of the Concords and Seinfeld.

Music: Love the classics like The Beatles, Bowie, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, The Velvet Underground, The Stones, PJ Harvey, Nick Cave, The Smiths, Led Zep, The Kinks, Beach Boys, Jeff Buckley, Nirvana. Usually a fan of indie and alternative . At the moment loving Deerhunter, The Kills, Can, The Black Angels, Fleet Foxes, Arcade Fire, Grizzly Bear, Animal Collective etc. Some other favorites, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bon Iver, Soundgarden, Tame Impala, Kasabian, Portishead, Yeasayer, Cat Power, Blur, Oasis, Dead Weather, The Drones, Fiona Apple, Bjork etc Also like a little of the heavy stuff like Tool, Deftones and NIN, but usually avoid it these days.
Music is like air to me, I couldn't live without it.

Food: Love any kind of food really. Love trying new restaurants and different types of cuisine.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friends/Family (pretty obvious this one)
My Ipod (because when you do things, which i sometimes do, it's good to have a musical accompaniment)
Live mUsic (the capital U was an accident, not for dramatic effect)
Good Films (not so fond of bad films)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What particular nuggets of wisdom to impart to the kiddies.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
watching a live band or in a pub discussing the ways of the world.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once fell off a wall in a Humpty Dumpty costume in a school play and couldn't get back up off the floor. Not really private, but it's a good story.
