I am truly an individual, just like everyone else! I think 50% of life is showing up the other half is once you get there. I am a reliable and self-reliant person by nature. I think variety is the spice of life but at the same time I enjoy my oldest friends and long-time comforts. I am progressive and adventurous, but I still believe in old-school values like honor and self-responsibility. I think that life is what you make of it. It is an exercise in futility to blame other people for your problems (even if they caused them) You have to see them as a challenge and an opportunity to grow. I hate entitlement more than anything. Thinking that you are owed something is the road to nowhere and will only serve to limit your potential.

I enjoy things like: travel History dining music movies and a host of other things that I will reveal only under the fiercest questioning! (like you asking "Do you like ____?") Yeah I guess thats not that rough.

I am Intelligent, Outgoing, and Positive

Living it! I try to enjoy every day that I am given. I am now a full time student studying medicine. I still work occasionally as a paramedic (time permitting) When I'm free I try to get out and have fun with friends.

Solving problems. Any type of problem. I have always enjoyed a challenge that I can "sink my teeth into" I think that is part of the reason I chose medicine as my career. (I also have a secret soft side but don't tell anyone)
I am also quite good in stressful situations. The adrenaline helps me focus.

I have a strong personality (this can be a positive or a negative) People tend to either like me or dislike me right away.

Books: The Dune series, Good History/Historical fiction, Huxley, W. William Gibson, Dan Brown, Terry Pratchett, The House of God.

Movies: Glory, Man on Fire, A good Tarantino flick, Swingers, TLR series, The Star Wars movies (sans that obnoxious Jar-Jar charactor) Steven Soderbergh can really mind f*** me with his movies sometimes.

TV: I don't watch a ton of TV, but I have always enjoyed the various Law and Order series. HBO also produces some good stuff like Band of Brothers and Six Feet Under

Music: I know it sounds cliche' but I like a bit of everything. More partial to classic alternative.

Food: I love to try different things as far as food. I enjoy a good steak with great wine. I have a pretty broad pallet as well. I enjoy Italian, Mexican, Thai, and Indian food.

4. Dental Floss (there is an almost mystical relief in removing that annoying chunk of food stuck between your molars)
5. My car (I love the idea of mass transit but I gotta have my ride)
6. Good Beer (this does not include stuff like Bud Light AKA beer flavored water)

My future. I also often think about how much better many things could be in the world if people would just do a little more or less. (depending on the situation)

Having a few beers with my friends or maybe out catching a movie.

I was a flaming redhead when I was a kid (think Conan only short) My hair just naturally got darker as I got older. I have still retained a ridiculous amount of freckles and grow an awesome red beard, though.
