So...since I'm not comfortable talking about myself and thought I'd be a little different, I've decided to give an assignment to my friends and family. THEY will be writing my profile! :)

Following are the ones I've received so far. Keep in mind: I did NOT write these. But at least you'll get an idea of the great, funny friends I surround myself with. And this is nothing yet...my brother and boys and all "my" teenagers (so obviously I adore kids) are working on the assignment as well!

UPDATE: Youngest off to college, moved, trying to settle in and finally concentrate on doing something for me!

Sailing, getting dirty, cooking, camping, gardening, taking care of others, doing whatever it takes to get the job done and not waiting for someone else to do it for me (ok, that could be a negative).
Oh, did I say "cooking?" That seems to be a big attraction at my house...I cook, don't eat, but everyone else seems to love it.

My friends tell me it is my smile and twinkling eyes. (Maybe a bit of mischief.)

Very eclectic in all categories.

What I COULD do without (from a friend, trust me, I have a lot to say about this, but can live with this for now):
--Fancy clothes and jewelry and similar things that some people think they need to be content.
--What are some of the things that you have put up with that you don't miss?
Lies and dishonesty
Expectations of what you think your life has to look like. You are flexible and are in many ways embracing the unknown adventure that your life is becoming.

APRIL 2011: What a great time I had in the Bahamas a few weeks ago with six teenagers (albeit, a bit exhausting)! They sure do have a lot of energy, but I'd go back in a heartbeat! Next!!!

Not much these days, hence the reason I'm on this!
