I am friendly and sometimes loud, Shy, but not for very long.
I am starting to become cynical, but trying to avoid it... I am too young for cynical!

I am a poor judge of musical talent at live shows, anything live is great by me.

I have a pleasant speaking voice.
I would rather see Batman than Sex and the City.
I will occasionally jump up and down or dance around for no apparent reason... or so I have been told. I am fairly certain I have reason for these outbursts.
I have recently started a little game with myself that requires me to try one new thing a day. Also included in this list of "new things" would be several "scary things" that I for one reason or another avoided.

I am working in Human Services, specifically the Mental Health field. I do that to pay most bills and feel like I have done something good. I recently stopped a retail job, we shall see how I can survive with out the few extra bucks a week, and my discounts.

There was a time (until late Sept 2009) that I would spend 2 mornings a week fetching coffee for a morning radio show in the hopes of obtaining an actual paying job. After 2 years, I decided that I was all done working my ass off for free. I now sleep more on those mornings, and ponder ways to fill the void left.

I plan on going to school for nursing sometime in the next year. In all honesty it is not a job I am giddy about, but I know I will be fantastic at it, and will be able to switch jobs within the job repeatedly if I feel the need.

Driving aimlessly. Laughing. Dreaming up things I may or may not ever do.

My facial expressions. I have always been told I have a very expressive face. I also have a pretty snazzy smile.

Books- I have piles of books. I love to buy them. I also love to read them.. but I don't always get around to that, and I don't know if I could pick a favorite. I loved "The Great Gatsby" and "Catcher in the Rye", but I feel like everyone does. "The Things They Carried" but that is universally loved as well. I guess I am not original. Although.. I was on an "as heard on NPR" non-fiction kick a few years back and that led me to read and thoroughly enjoy "Rats" and "Mad in America".

Movies- I LOVE movies. All sorts. Great movies, bad movies, dumb movies, bizarre movies... I love. They range from silly girlie movies like Dirty Dancing; to romantic comedies (Love Actually); to action both good and bad (Bourne, 007, French Connection, Ronin, The Professional); to slightly more indie (Little Miss Sunshine, Secretary, Imaginary Heroes); and of course, some foreign (Y tu mama tambien, Amelie, Pans Labyrinth) or classic (Casablanca, Bonnie and Clyde, The Graduate, Harold and Maude). I get too much joy out of organizing my DVDs, I started organizing them in a Kevin Bacon style, kinda, I didn't get a chance to finish.

Music- I typically like different things depending on my mood. Although I tend to lean more towards "alternative rock" (I blame the former internship) I can sometimes be caught singing to a larger variety. I have a station on Pandora.com that uses Prince, Killers, Peaches, Dusty Springfield, Ray Lamontagne, Damien Rice, Nina Simone, Depeche Mode, Muse, and Kings of Leon. I think I confuse Pandora.

Food- I like food. I enjoy cheese.

I currently work Friday nights.
The better question is: what would I like to be doing on a Friday night?
I would rather be at home relaxing, or out being social. Alternatively, I wouldn't mind taking a drive.

I will answer any personal question I am asked honestly. I do not often hold things back. If I determine you are not a serial killer, I will tell you anything you want to know. I don't think that is really admitting anything, I shall try again.

I bite my nails and rarely put my clothes away.
