My self-summary Propose an edit

Me, in a nutshell:

I'm a 20 year old guy who likes the weirdest things you can imagine. I have a passion for anime, computers, video games, animals, colorful things and cuteness in general. I like to think of myself as intelligent, caring and sensitive, and I'm also a perfectionist ... meaning I like to have everything perfectly lined up and in order and whatnot.

Me, the (slightly) longer version:

Ok, let's see ... I'm a very shy and quiet person in real life, and I find it very hard to talk to random people and attend social gatherings of any kind. However when people are kind to me, I can really open up a lot. But be rude or something, and I'll crawl right back into my shell waiting for someone nice to come and get me out of there (My birth sign is cancer after all, my shell is my sanctuary :P)

On line however, I'm almost the opposite of this! I tend to be really talkative and I'm able to talk about almost anything, from serious topics like politics to extremely random stuff like "why is the sky not green?"
But I do suck at starting stuff and first contacts and stuff >.<
Well I can do this in real life as well, but only when I'm out of that darn shell ;)
However, I hate idle talk about nothing at all ... don't start talking to me saying "the weather's nice today, eh". I KNOW it's nice, I don't need anyone to tell me that :)

Ok, moving on ...
Due to someone I met very recently, a new light has been shining on a new path for me, the one of asexuality. It's one I didn't think was possible, but thanks to these new things I've learned now, it may very well be possible after all. I never really enjoyed sex, so yeah :)
Well I'm not sure if I am yet, I'm still finding out, but I'm heavily leaning towards it, that's for sure.

My humor is very .. sarcastic and dry, and that's the one thing you have to be able to deal with if you want to talk to me :)
Even more so in real life than on the internet!

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

Well currently I'm just a poor guy attending college this year. I'm hoping to do Logistics Management but certain people are .. being annoying about this ...

Anyway, when I'm done with college, I hope to find a job really fast, and work hard to gather up a lot of money, as fast as possible. Reason for this is simply that I hate Belgium :)
I plan to move to Canada in the future, and as soon as I have the financial security to do so, I will.

When I'm in Canada, I will get a job there (obviously) and hopefully meet the right person for me to get married and maybe have kids. I'm not sure about the latter yet as I'm afraid I wouldn't make a really good father, due to being too easy-going ;) Only time will tell!

I'm really good at Propose an edit

Well I like to think I'm a rather good listener, I can't tell for sure though, you'd have to ask other people about that ;)
But they usually come to me for advice or if something is bothering them, so I would suspect that I am :)

Other than that, I think I have a talent for playing music. I recently got a keyboard to start learning the piano, and after 2 days of practice I could already play a song. Sure, it's a rather simple song, but I do play with 2 hands, which is a good thing after only playing for 2 days I think ;)

Another thing I am decent at, is drawing. However I never have an idea how to draw, and frequently lose concentration as well, so I end up not drawing many things at all. But when I do draw something, it looks good :P

Well for the most accurate answer, I suggest you ask "other people", and not me ;)

However the things I THINK people notice about me first are ...

well first and foremost my shyness. It's a bit hard not to notice that. Well actually I'm so shy people usually don't notice I'm there at all, so this point could be moot :P

I also think people notice the way I look. I have a lazy eye and red hair ... I do look a bit different than the "standard" due to that. Not like I really care though :)
Well I do care about the lazy eye, I am getting that fixed someday.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

Okay, I'll add some more sections than the four given here to the end, as I want to discuss my favorite games, anime, tv series, animals and whatever else I want to discuss too ;)

BOOKS: I honestly haven't read a whole lot in the past .. 2 years I think. I'm not sure why I haven't, but I started reading again about 2 weeks ago.
My favorite books are: Stravaganza: City of Masks from Marry Hoffman (the second one in this trilogy is boring, and I'm not going to bother with the last :P), Het Meisje in de Jungle from Patrick Legrou, I'm not sure if this one has an English title though ... and a few other books that I probably don't like any more due to reading them when I was very young ;)

MOVIES: I love about all kinds of movies, except the ones with pointless humor or action, that have no story at all. I don't care too much about the special effects or the actors, it's the story and ambience that matter the most to me. Even though I like about every genre, I do have a clear preference for anything Sci-fi and Fantasy related. Popular examples of this are Star Wars, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, etc.

TV SERIES: I love the mini-serie Taken, and just thought it deserved it's own section xD I don't usually watch TV unless I'm extremely bored. And even then ...

GAMES: I really like games that either require you think logically, or are purely action based. I'm not too fond of stuff that's too easy in either perspective. My favorite games are The Legend of Zelda (has these 2 traits even :), and I like ever game of the series), Team Fortress 2 (lots of action packed there), Fable, Overlord (it's just too funny/cute) and the Super Mario franchise.

ANIME: My favorite kinds of anime are the ones that have interesting love stories, and are basically an emotional roller-coaster ... even though I always feel depressed after watching them. My favorite anime series are Air, Clannad, Elfen Lied (bit gory though), Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien and Scrapped Princess (which is like midieval and Sci-fi in one, pretty itneresting concept)

MUSIC: There's few music I don't like, and it mostly depends on the individual song rather than the genre it's classified as. However I do have a preference for Classical music, movie soundtracks, Japanese music and Folk.

FOOD: Well ... I love food lol
I eat about anything, except for stuff that's supposed to be hard, but is blended, like mashed potatoes for example. I simply can't eat it, even though I do like the taste :(
Stuff I really love include pizza (who doesn't :P), spaghetti, steak, eggs and chicken.

DRINKS: Well I'm a juice/pop person, depends on what I feel like drinking at the time ;)
I don't really drink alcohol, except for maybe a beer on a really hot day or a glass of whine on a special occasion, but that's it. You'll NEVER see me drunk ;)

ANIMALS: I'm really an animal person, I can identify with them much better than I can with humans ...
My favorite animals are cats, deer and starfish :] I know, those last 2 may be a bit weird ;)

The six things I could never do without Propose an edit

The only things I couldn't really do without are things like food, drinks, air, emotions and someone to love.

I find it slightly funny and annoying at the same time when people tell me "I'm addicted to computer and wouldn't be able to live without it". Sure I'm on the computer a lot, but the only reason is for the simple reason that I have nothing else to do. I never miss being not he computer when I am doing other stuff so ..

I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit

Lately I've been thinking a lot about what to do with my life. I'm starting to get an image, but obviously that won't work out anyway lol. I'm not really one to have a lot of luck :D
