Im big on new experiences. . . I will definitely try anything once and like others who do too. I've eaten a couple of varieties of snake, climbed on top of things that I probably shouldn't have, and lived in some exotic locales. I like doing a lot of things Im not necessarily that good at, just for the experience of trying them out. And I love nature, whether it be houseplants, gardens, or extended camping or cycling trips. Other potentially essential facts: I'm really not a fan of shoes, and try to wear them as little as possible. Things I am a fan of- lifelong learning, politics, bike touring (biking anywhere really...I really love riding), urban adventuring, communing with nature, and gummi bears.

I also like to design and make things, arts and crafts style... though I can't say my homemade nightstand belongs in the "really good" pile.

Italo Calvino, in english or italian, is one of the best. Lately though I've been reading a lot of non-fiction books, so I'd have to say books that make you think about the way things work (cultures, policy, your brain).

Movies. . .usually artsy ones. How cultured I like to make myself feel.

Food. . . anything homemade. Eggplant or Spinach usually go into my creations.

I'm a minimalist, there really isn't that much I couldn't live without, except sunscreen. I'm a redhead, that stuff is essential for life. Ok, and ice cream, and plants, and good people to share all of the above with.

Whatever catches my fancy, I can be scatterbrained and impulsive at times.
