My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love science and just about anything related to it. That and space. How could you not love that stuff? Like, black holes and stars that explode are a thing out there, and everything about that is pretty cool. I spend more time than I should screwing around on the internet and have what most would consider an unhealthy obsession with Mythbusters.

I used to spend a lot of time running, but recent injuries put a stop to that. I'm trying to get back into it, and just avoid the whole "destroy your knee" thing from happening again. Which is good, because I missed running. Running around like an idiot with your dog at the dog park doesn't count as "running," apparently (it totally should, by the way). Sometimes I also yell at the TV when characters I like get killed, but I'm assuming that also doesn't count. I can still hike and camp and all that, so it's not all bad. Seriously, sleeping and walking through the woods is pretty great.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Spending most of my day working as a software developer. It's really quite exciting. The constant thrill of knowing you could accidentally delete an entire database! Discovering all sorts of new ways to break a computer. And sometimes, your code even works (every job has its boring parts).

Just got my own house, so that's pretty awesome. I think my sink started leaking yesterday. My furnace makes a loud pop noise every half hour or so. My lawn mower makes really, really weird noises when it's running. I learned that, no, Driveway Sealer does not come out of shoes or clothes. I'm really going to miss those pants.

Every day I try to practice my piano and get a little better. By practice, I mean playing the same 10 seconds of a song over and over again. My room mate really loves it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Math and science. It's come in handy a few times. Usually it's best use is to throw out stupid random facts about math that has no bearing on the current situation. And I guess I'm alright at the piano.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
"Wh...Why is that guy talking to his dog like that. He knows it can't understand him right?"
"He's yelling at his computer. Why is he yelling at his computer?"
"He has his headphones in but he's not actually listening to anything. Why are his headphones still in? I don't understand"
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
TV Shows: Merlin, Doctor Who, Archer, The Universe, Breaking Bad, Mythbusters. Watch anime sometimes, too. Attack on Titan and TTGL being my top ones right now.

Movies: The Matrix, Boondock Saints, Pacific Rim, anything Star Wars or Star Trek related.

Books: The Stand, The Dark Tower, just about anything physics or space related

Food: All food! But seriously, I love a good Italian restaraunt

Music: Mostly rock/alternative, though I also love listening to just about any piano music as well (David Nevue and Philip Wesley being my two favorite piano players). Been listening to a lot of M83 and Perfect Circle, recently.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Netflix. What did people do before Netflix. What did I do before Netflix? The fact that I can't remember bothers me.
2. Internet. What I probably used more of before Netflix was a thing.
3. My dog. She's starting to answer to "Little Shit," and I'm not sure how I feel about that. Proud? Yeah, proud.
4. Books. Love reading just about anything. I read a book about math a while ago. It was pretty awesome?
5. Instant boxed food. I'm a horrible, horrible cook. I'm getting better, though! Until then, this crap is keeping me from starving to death in my own house.
6. My piano. Love playing it. Love annoying the hell out of my room mate with the thing. It's like a fun little game.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why does my dog think the best method of waking me up in the morning is to claw me repeatedly across the face? "Good morning! Thought you'd like to wake up to your face bleeding, you're welcome!" Seriously, it hurts.

How weird words are. Say 'water' over and over again for a few minutes. Tell me that's not weird.

Debating whether or not to go back to school to study astrophysics.

Who would win in a fight, Batman or Superman? I'm asking the tough questions here. Seriously though, it's Batman. It's totally Batman.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'll go out if my friends decide to go out. If not, I'm usually just watching way too much Mythbusters on Netflix or yelling at my piano like it's the piano's fault I can't play a song correctly. If I'm not doing any of that, I'm probably just sitting around playing games on the PC or something.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can't whistle, and I can't snap. I'm also left-handed and can make a clover with my tongue. I nailed it in the gene pool lottery, apparently.

I wasn't kidding about that Batman vs Superman question. Who wins, and why is it Batman?
