I am an optimist, I like to learn new things and would prefer to be moving around rather than sitting.

I have been active in campaigns for the last 12 years and recently moved to DC for my next adventure. I had originally planned to be a high school teacher coming out of grad school and have since then had a few really interesting (and sometimes stressful) jobs. Looking forward to a more sustainable life/work balance these days!

I normally read biographies and historical non-fiction (plus Harry Potter and Hunger Games). I don't normally watch to many movies or tv but like shows like Modern Family, Psych, West Wing.
