I am a human, brain owner, and I like the fun.

My Self-Summary

I thrive on conversations with smart, funny people. I'm not averse to staying up all night. I studied Fine Art at art school & since then have been trying my hardest to avoid real life - it's worked so far. I read a lot, I party a lot, I travel a lot. I don't draw enough.

I fucking love science: evolutionary biology, physics, astronomy and cosmology are my favourites. Although I'm a purely a spectator, never done anything about it. I also take a substantial if increasingly apathetic interest in politics. And I'm a bit of an armchair futurologist.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm an artist and musician. I drum in a band but have just started music production too. I pay the bills by DJing which also allows me to travel the world, although I don't get to see much of it apart from the inside of airports, hotels and clubs. Getting into DJing was an accident related to the success of my previous band, I never planned it, but it's such a great blag I just can't stop. I do genuinely enjoy it, it's essentially professional drinking, but it's not exactly my vocation.

I’m really good at

Drumming, drawing and drinking. Sardonic comments. Hand stands.

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm setting fire to things in their back garden

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Hunter S. Thompson, Irvine Welsh, Michel Houellebecq, Bret Easton-Ellis, John Fante, Dostoyevsky, Arthur C. Clarke, Noam Chomsky, Richard Dawkins, Charlie Brooker, George Orwell, Cormac McCarthy, Chris Ware, Alan Moore

Movies: Being John Malcovich (Any Charlie Kaufman films actually) In The Loop, Shaun of the Dead. Big fan of Christian Bale, whos name I always forget since he is so absolutely Patrick Bateman in my brain.

I also devour TV comedy like Peep Show, Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe, BrassEye, The Day Today, League of Gentlemen, Garth Marenghis Dark Place, Nathan Barley, Time Trumpet, The Office, Extras, Simpsons, 15 Storey's High, etc etc....

Music: Metronomy, The Presets, Radiohead, The Knife, Electro & Fidget and a load of other stuff too boring to mention

Food: Cooked

The six things I could never do without

Lungs, heart, brain, digestive system, genitals, one of my eyes

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Naked fun.
