My self-summary
I'm looking for someone who's as interesting as I tell myself I am. lol Someone fun and crazy in all the best ways. Someone who I connect with. Someone who will pretend to understand me, heh. Someone who wants to live life a little with me. Someone who really wants me around, so don't be "nice" or pitying, if you aren't feeling it the nicest thing you can do is be honest with me.

I'm a lot, I've got a lot of ground to cover. I wasted a lot of time trying to simultaneously hide from life and wish my past out of existence. It took a major reality alteration for me to wake up and truly live. Now that I'm doing that I want someone to live with. To experience life with, have adventures and make memories.

I'm mercurial, I'm eccentric, I'm sarcastic, I'm too judgmental one day but too forgiving the next, I stick my nose in where it absolutely does not belong, I'm a fierce friend and a believer in the joys of family both biological and chosen.

No matter what I write here, it's going to sound corny or lame. I know that, you know that. Who I am can't be summed up here I don't care how many characters they give you. I am so many things at once, and again even trying to describe them will sound trite and either self aggrandizing if I go in one direction or self mocking if I go in another.
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to figure out something to do with my life.
I’m really good at
Sarcastic remarks, mocking commentary and backhanded compliments.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've heard about my smile and eyes a lot recently but those are usually the generic answers right? Lol

So tell me a new one ;)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: American Gods, Stardust, really anything by Neil Gaiman, the Harry Potter series, Wicked, Mists of Avalon, the Percy Jackson series, the complete works of Anne Rice. Do graphic novels count? Kingdom Come by Mark Waid and Alex Ross, Watchmen by Alan Moore, the Golden Age by James Robinson. If we're going that far do comics count? James Robinson's Starman, Alan Moore's Promethea, Bill Willingham's Fables (though that's gone downhill lately), Chris Claremont and Alan Davis' Excalibur. ...I'm a geek. ...I'm okay with this. ;)

Movies: Ghostbusters, Labyrinth, Groundhog Day, The Avengers, Clue, Clueless, Serenity, Galaxy Quest, Mystery Men, Kill Bill, Juno, Practical Magic, Interview with the Vampire, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Dark Knight

TV series: Doctor Who, Parks and Recreation, American Horror Story, Orphan Black, The Flash, Once Upon a Time, Orange is the New Black, True Blood (not so much anymore), Happy Endings and Firefly are still alive in my heart!!! ;) (if we're including cancelled shows let's throw in 3rd Rock from the Sun, Buffy, Xena, 30 Rock, the first season of Heroes, The Muppet Show, Gargoyles,Wonderfalls, and Batman the animated series.

Music: P!nk, Maroon 5, Three Days Grace, Lifehouse, Snow Patrol, Ingrid Michaelson, Switchfoot, Green Day, The Killers, Greg Laswell, Broadway soundtracks

Food: Somewhat picky but I can usually find SOMETHING on a menu, just no Mexican food. Dealbreaker, lol.
The six things I could never do without
Family and Friends (I doubt their status as "things" but it felt callous to not include them)
Writing or some other kind of creative outlet (I would seriously go mad)
Wifi (lol)
Something to fight about
Connections (not to just people, but to places and situations)
New experiences (and the personal changes that follow)
My freak flag and the general eccentricities/oddities of life. ;)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
42
On a typical Friday night I am
Trying to be a little less typical.

...Who am I kidding? I'm probably at work... trying to be a little less homicidal...
You should message me if
If you're not one of the apparent millions who want someone "laid back" or "easygoing" which is apparently what everyone on here is looking for according to their profiles, lol. In all honesty those are the last traits I want in a partner.

If you're a huge geek and have yet to meet someone who can match your passion for the obscure and the nerdy.

If you're looking for someone to argue with till the grave... which may come sooner than later, hehehe 3:)

If you realize that all you see here is only like 1/10 of a person and you want to see the whole picture.
