But seriously...
How to sum up an entire life in as few words as possible:
1) Generalize 2) Be concise 3) B.S.
I'm an actor/singer/writer. If I could make a living at any
of those, I wouldn't drive trucks for a living (or any of the other
careers that have been my joy to slave at, including but not
limited to IT Manager, Customer Service Specialist, Print
Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Comedy Instructor, Wandering Street
Poet, etc.).
I'm really not as arrogant as the above makes me sound. In person,
I am really rather self-effacing. I am funny and known for my
self-deprecating style of humor. But this is, after all, a sales
pitch to entice you to write to me.
PERMANEANT ADDENDUM! Unless something radically changes with who I
am, all recent edits to this profile can be found in my journal!

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
Trying to live the Examined life, because otherwise it wouldn't be
worth it. Curse you Socrates. @#%$^&*#$
I'm really good at Propose an edit
EVERYTHING!!!!! :-)
Well, almost. Given enough time and effort I think we can all be
good at just about anything we put our minds to.
What have I put my mind to? Many things! Acting, Poetry, Singing, Massage, Computers, Teaching, Writing (Yes, a separate thing from
poetry), Photography... Three of
those things weren't even jobs!
See above about "arogance" and "sales pitch".
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit
Intense eyes and dynamite smile.
Then, once you talk to me, it would be my voice. I have a very
expressive voice. After all of the years of vocal training, who
wouldn't?
I DID say this was a sales pitch, right?
My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit
Everything! I'm quite eclectic.
If I had to mention a few...
Books: Classics (Shakespeare, Dante, Byron), Science Fiction
(Adams, Niven, Gayman), Fantasy (Pratchett, Rowling, Lewis),
Non-Fiction (Hawking and anything else!)
Movies: I'm going to try to list chronologically from random DVDs
selected from my collection (plus a few for padding purposes. They
WILL be in my collection eventually!), but I make no promises!
Casablanca, House on Haunted Hill (Original), The Last Man On
Earth, Monty Python's Search for the Holy Grail, The Blues
Brothers, Caveman, Lady Hawk, Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, Dead
Poet's Society, Akira, Hudson Hawk, Army of Darkness, Mystery Men,
Office Space, Music From Another Room, Ghost in the Shell, Boondock
Saints, LotR, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The
Incredibles,50 First Dates, Transformers (both the original and
current) Do you get the idea that I haven't met a movie genre I
didn't like?
Music: Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Gilbert & Sullivan, Nat
King Cole, B.B. King, Louis Armstrong, Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly,
The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Grassroots, Black Sabboth, Andrew
Lloyd Webber, The BeeGees, Journey, Asia, Duran Duran, New Order,
Information Society, Bon Jovi, Sound Garden, Megadeth, Garth
Brooks, Foo Fighters, Nickel Back, Evanescence and just about
everything recorded or unrecorded that is musical. Eclectic,
no?
Food: Italian is my favorite.
The six things I could never do without Propose an edit
Friends and family (two things, but to me they are the same)
Entertainment (boredom is my kryptonite) Challenges(again,
kryptonite...)
Oy, those catch-alls can really narrow your options...
Love Honor Dignity
OK, so I cheesed out there on the last ones. Sue me.
I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit
Everything. I can't stop thinking. It's a curse. I'm addicted to
learning.
On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit
More appropriately in this world of alternating schedules:
What do I enjoy doing on down time? Karaoke, gaming, B.S.ing with a group of friends
(what gaming
sessions usually devolve into), reading, attending concerts/plays/musicals/operas/general performances, biking, hiking, camping, picnicking, swimming, disc golf, spelunking, climbing,
attending movies, dining... What DON'T I enjoy doing!?!
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here Propose an edit
I masticate. :-)
(This is the technical term for "chew", by the way. As in, "I
masticate my food." There has been some confusion over
this...)
I'm an open book. There's nothing you can't ask me and no question
I wouldn't answer... Even the other M-word thing!!!
You should message me if Propose an edit
If you love life, spontaneity, creativity and adventure, I'm your
man! Or could be...
I am looking for someone who is caring, kind and considerate, but
who will tell me bluntly if I've screwed up. That is the ultimate
kindness. Intelligence is sexy!
I love all animals, but I am allergic to cats. I do love cats, but
can no longer be around them. I can't snuggle them like I used
to.
Addendum: The same goes for smoking. The allergic part, not the
love part. That's a reason I no longer work in clubs as a D.J. Gone
are the days that I can spend every night in a smoke filled room.
1, maybe 2 nights a week tops these days is all I can tollerate.
Why is this listed in the "You should message me if" section?
Please, no smokers.
