I am an ambitious, independent mother of two teenage boys. I love sand and sea. I love to travel and I have visited all but six states. I can't wait to find adventure in new countries. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I love music, football, baseball, and reading.Some-one once asked me what I thought the meaning of our existence here on earth was really all about? My response to that is, I don't believe we are suppose to merely exist, we are suppose to live life to its fullest and revel in all life's blessings.

What I’m doing with my life

I am currently going to school to become a registered nurse and trying to prepare my boys for college. My eldest son is away at Vet school :( and is having a great time!!! My youngest is in his Senior year in high school and then off to see the world.

I’m really good at

I am a great friend and I am very good at listening. I am fun and I enjoy making people laugh. I am good at being very passionate and very open minded. I believe that a person can truly be good at anything they try if they want it bad enough and are willing to work hard to get it. They may never be Great but they can achieve "good" if the desire is strong enough.

The first things people usually notice about me

I have often heard that I have a smile that lights up the room and a personality to match. My friends and family say that any emotions I feel will be on display in my eyes.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

books - I use to enjoy reading anything I could pick up.I am so busy with school and work I have not had a lot of time to read anything that does not come equipped with flash cards. UUUUG!

movies - I do not have a favorite. I enjoy a lot of different types of movies. I just watched "The Funeral", I mean "The Proposal" HAHAHAHAHA

music - Music speaks to the soul and every genre speaks to me in it's own unique way. I use to think I did not like rap music but, while driving with my son the other day, a rap song came on that I enjoyed. I now believe, that with an open mind, I can appreciate the style of a lot of different artist. Okay appreciate is a strong word, tolerate is a better choice.

food - Sushi, tacos, spicy foods. I love flavor! I believe every sense we have should be experimented with and enjoyed.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I spend a lot of time thinking about the future and what it holds for my boys as well as myself. When I finish school I plan to travel and meet lots of new people. I tend to day-dream about that quite a bit as well. Indiana is cold so I think about sitting in the tropics, my feet buried in the sand with a fun, festive drink in my hand and sharing a beautiful day with someone special. It will happen.

On a typical Friday night I am

Making dinner and hanging out with my friends, my kids, and my kids' friends before I head off to a job that I love but also regret that it takes me way from these activities every weekend.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I am an honest and open person and I do not keep things private... well there is that one thing.
