My self-summary
Drew Barrymore syndrome:
A little cool, a little dorky, a little business-savvy, secretly slightly hippy-ish, a little mischevious, & yes, I have smarts.
So many hats.

ok.. seriously..where to begin on something like this!

I smile a lot, get a kick out of just about everything, & can get on famously with just about everyone. (Chances are, if we meet, we'll have a grand time, & be friends for sure. As far as love goes...well that's a little trickier;).

Infectious happiness is one of my biggest thrills in life--but so is clever mischief; if used for good;)
A good balance of kindness & spice is always nice.

A minor history: I grew up equally between the small-town prairies, Budapest, & on a Sailboat in the Gulf. So I'm 1/3rd bumpkin, (dreams of owning a petting zoo), 1/3rd citygirl (I work in eco-fashion), & 1/3rd gypsy. (I'll spontaneously hop on a plane or boat to wherever, whimsically dressed).

I love adventure, travel, and community. I'm happy anywhere, I come by it honestly...
But there's a currently a co-pilot missing; and a good life is notably more fun when it's shared.

* my disclaimer:
I find online connections can be terribly flighty; so I prefer to talk (old-school phone style), and then meet. (People are just much better in person.) And if we're all here to expand our circles, then we should do just that:) So I'll text back n forth for a bit, but I don't have a ton of time for endless 'profile swipers' who I'll probably never meet...I hope that's fair:)
What I’m doing with my life
I work pretty hard, and often...(hence the online profile), but I run with a handsome group of friends that love to live fully & laugh heartily, (in the Tom Robbin's novel kind of way.) We seek great beer & whiskey. We go on multi-caravan nature adventures in the great northwest. We enjoy, & play music. We're jokesters. We're regulars at sing-along. We all have weird skills that would serve us well in the wake of an apocolyptic disaster.
I'm a pretty lucky girl.
I’m really good at
Talking to anyone, & making them feel comfortable. And laughing... Uncontrollably.
The first things people usually notice about me
Strangers compliment my smile a lot... And it's sweet of them.
I seem to hear over & over that my kind of unabashed friendliness is rare.
I'd like to think thats not true.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Shows: The Office, Arrested Development, Bored to Death, New Girl, Curb your Enthusiasm, Party Down, Eastbound and Down, Sunny in Philly.

Movies: Grumpier Old Men (love those two), 40 Year old Virgin, Horrible Bosses, Big Lebowski, Pineapple Express, etc, etc. Jim Carrey in (most) things, pretty much anything by Judd Apatow, Wes Anderson. Im a sucker for Bill Murray, Robert Downy Jr, and Steve Carall. Occasionally I love a good dry movie, too. Documentaries at the right time:)

Music: Temptations to The Kinks to Snoop Dogg. Love it all.

Food: If it's good, I'll eat it:)
The six things I could never do without
1. Families that laugh together.
2. Friends (old, new, borrowed, or blue.)
3. Adventures...anywhere.
4. Laughing so hard my cheeks hurt.
5. When the exact right song plays at the exact right moment. soundtrack.
6. Love. In all it's forms. of course.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why people are online to 'meet' someone, but they never actually meet. (strange,no?)

Really:
The next friend-filled caravan adventure
New DIY projects
Vintage treasure hunts
Seeking eco-solutions
I love to hand-make gifts, so that's always a fiasco waiting to happen...stuffing errrrywhere.

In the back of my mind: how to be consistently proactive about the things that matter, to me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Unpredictable Fridays!
Wherever the wind takes me, really. Either shaking-it-up, or relaxing...y'never know;)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Oh, hmm. That I can't sing a high 'c' note? I always overcook eggs? I hate trying to pronounce "rural?" ... I feel like Im being tricked into something here...

This quote sounds rad to you:
"Actually, the best gift you could have given her, was a lifetime full of adventures."
