My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Drew Barrymore syndrome:
A little cool, a little quirky, a little business-savvy, secretly slightly hippy-ish, a little mischevious, & yes, I have smarts.
So many hats.

Ok, seriously, Cupid, where to begin here!

Character: Smiley, friendly, warm, curious, candid, creative, adventurous. I've lived a pretty fanciful life, and so I'm generally just pleased in general:)

Love: I enjoy loyalty, space, friendship, adventure, sweet gestures, & laughter above all. I look forward to meeting the fella who can make me laugh, more than I amuse him with my antics;)

Home: The cozy nest, where friends usually pop up un-announced. My hobby is getting creative with spaces, & making things with my hands. I hope to reno a house one day. Animals? Yes, please:)

Father: world-sailor, a bit of a vegabond.
Mother: Cozily nestled in the prairies.
Sister: My hilarious best friend.
The rest of em are in Hungary. Yes I've lived there, & yes I speak it;)

A minor history: I grew up equally between: Alberta prairies/Budapest/ on a Sailboat in BC. (& pretty well-travelled beyond that.)
So I'm 1/3rd bumpkin, (loves a petting zoo), 1/3rd citygirl (I work in eco-fashion & tourism), & 1/3rd gypsy. (I'll spontaneously hop on a plane or boat to wherever; whimsically dressed, of course;)

I'm happy as it were; I come by that honestly. But there's currently a co-pilot missing; and a good life is notably more fun when it's shared;)

* my disclaimer:
I find the anonymity & flaky nature of online socializing a bit backwards...
So my personal remedy is: A few messages, a phone call, a meet-up. (I can't entertain endless texts...I prefer real-life interaction...I hope thats fair:)

First dates are fun; it's like making new friends along the way. As far as love goes...well that's a bit trickier... So I approach this whole online thing with: 'a friendly approach, and hope to be surprised' kinda way:)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Friend-filled caravan off-track nature adventures in the great northwest.
Festivals, shows, community 'stuff', bike tours, canoe tours, brewery tours, city tours, & whiskey. (A great whiskey sour, gets me;)
Any excuse for a danceparty, wish lanterns, fireworks, ukelele duet.
Building something off Pinterest, just for the helluvit.
Mountain adventures, gardening, potlucks, movie nights, singalong. (season dependent.)

Most importantly, I'm surrounded by hilarious friends & a lot of support. I'm a pretty lucky girl.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
1. Talking to anyone, & making them feel comfortable instantly.
2. Judge of character -- everyone starts off with full benefit of the doubt, & hopefully they don't work their way backwards.
3. Oh, and laughing uncontrollably...when I see something outrageously funny.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Strangers compliment my smile a lot... And it's sweet of them.
I seem to hear over & over that my kind of unabashed friendliness is rare.
I'd like to think thats not true.

The Office, Arrested Development, Bored to Death, New Girl, Curb your Enthusiasm, Party Down, Eastbound and Down, Sunny in Philly. Pretty much anything by Judd Apatow, Wes Anderson. Im a sucker for Bill Murray, Robert Downy Jr, and Steve Carall. Documentaries at the right time:)

Music: Temptations to The Kinks to Snoop Dogg. Love it all.

Food: If it's good, I'll eat it:)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Family that laughs together.
2. Friends (old, new, borrowed, or blue.)
3. Adventures...I'm down.
4. Laughing so hard my cheeks hurt.
5. When the exact right song plays at the exact right moment in time.
6. Love. In all it's forms. of course.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why people are online to 'meet' someone, but they never actually meet. (strange,no?)

The next friend-filled caravan adventure
New DIY projects
Vintage treasure hunts
Seeking eco-solutions
I love to hand-make gifts, (so that's always a fiasco waiting to happen.)

In the back of my mind: how to be consistently proactive about the things that keep me happy n healthy.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Unpredictable Fridays!
Wherever the wind takes me, really. Either shaking-it-up, or relaxing...y'never know;)

Sundays, however; I'm at my best.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Oh, hmm. That I can't sing a high 'c' note? I always overcook eggs? I hate trying to pronounce "rural?" ... I feel like Im being tricked into something here...

ok, wait. I got one. I have this weird thing with rice; I can't leave a grain behind. It's still the 6 year old in me, that thought it'd get lonely. Hopefully someone finds that adorable, or I'm doomed.

This quote sounds rad to you:
"Actually, the best gift you could have given her, was a lifetime full of adventures."
