I am confident, tenacious and somewhat stubborn, decisive on major decisions that matter but can be indecisive on more minor things. I think I am friendly and caring but fairly introverted, intelligent and educated, mature for my age, honest, loving, and have a good career. I have an old house and an old cat. Both are currently central to my life. I also love dogs but my current cat does not, and I occasionally travel for work, so for those reasons I do not currently have a dog, but I love doggie sitting. I know exactly who I am and what I want in a man. I am a homebody - I have to force myself to "go out" and socialize in groups, and usually not more than once a week, and even then I prefer to be in bed by 9 or 10. I'm happy just doing my own thing usually, although I much prefer to be doing almost anything with somebody special. I would consider myself pretty "boring" for my age and it would help if you are similar or compatible in that way, or at least if you understand what I mean when I say that. I love finer food and I like to cook so it would be great to find a partner who does too.
I am family oriented (though do not desire kids) and am looking to settle down and find somebody to come home to. In a partner, I look for a sweet, intelligent, mostly introverted, nerdy but professional, athletic/healthy, down to earth, similarly established guy who knows who he is, who wants to spend a lot of time together as DINKS, maybe playing house in Stapleton, maybe someday running a homestead far from town; running errands, and exploring together. I love Colorado, home cooked gourmet food, animals, gardening, road trips, and I often have a weakness for pale skin. I generally go for platinum/blonde and blue (bonus points for Scandinavians), or for brunettes with seductive deep set eyes and thick eyebrows, and sometimes go for gingers, and I have a huge thing for runners and cyclists... guys who are more trim/slender than me - I am considered a "cub" I guess. Fair warning, I have a greater than average sex drive. Other details along those lines are found in the "questions" section.
