Hey, I'm Debi, and I am engaged to a really great guy. We have been together for almost 6 years. Stop reading NOW if you are looking to date and/or sleep with me kthnx! I am a curious, child-like girl. The simple pleasures in life excite me, and I absolutely love to dance. I also love ska shows, because there is such a positive, uplifting energy. I read a lot, and I like to experience new things and go new places. I am into sociology, and psychology. I am working towards a double major in elementary education and natural science. I took a class in digital photography last semester, and I have stuck with it because photography is pretty great. I think Photoshop is cheating. I am constantly finding new things to learn about (recently, the early US Space program) I would love to listen to whatever you have to say. I have a passion for learning and teaching. I'm rather quiet, but if you get me going on certain topics, I get all excited. I wish I was around in the 40's and 50's.

I am going to college for education and science as well as working as a nanny for three great (and energetic) kids. I read a LOT, and I love to go out for a change of pace. You can find me at Borders, fast food restaurants, or maybe visiting friends or going to funworld.

Well, I can make a really tasty bowl of ramen.

People usually notice when I do odd things. Like, "Oh! Yeah, you're the girl who was reading a book outside the bus at the airshow." or "Hey, aren't you the girl who totally wiped out on the sidewalk the other day? Are you OKAY?!"

a) I will read anything and everything (although I'm not really into fantasy). Because I'm in college, I mostly read my textbooks, which is fine with me since I am interested in the classes I am taking. I also really enjoy Tracy Chevalier and Toni Morrison's novels.

b) I am not big on movies, really. I like to watch them, sure, but I don't do it very often. My favorite are comedies- all time favorite movies include Airplane!, Super Troopers, and Clerks II. I <3 Kevin Smith's movies.

c) I love music to death! Especially punk- "punk" I should say, and ska. Favorite bands right now include Big D and the Kids Table, Westbound Train, Catch 22, and all time favorites like the Beatles. I grew up with music, since my dad is a musician and has been in bands my whole life.

d) My all-time favorite food is apple chimicheesecake at Applebee's (which they have discontinued!!!) My Dad's shepard's pie ranks WAY up there.

I don't really have typical Friday nights... I go out all different days and do all different things.
