My self-summary Propose an edit
I'm Shannon. I love horror movies and video games. I smoke cloves,
and yes, I'm aware of the implied pretentiousness. I'm not
religious. I'm fascinated with mythology and urban legends and
weird coincidences, but I don't believe in ghosts. I never forget
birthdays and I always sit with my back to the wall.
That's just a smattering of dubiously semi-useful
information.
If you want to know something, just ask.
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
I'm currently working on a degree from the University of Pittsburgh
with a double major in Classics and English Writing, concentration
in Poetry (for now, at least) - don't ask me what I'm going to do
with it, though, because I have no idea. I also work at the
counseling center in the William Pitt Union - 'work,' here, being
very loosely used, because all I really do is download porn and
surf the internet while chatting with my friends. But I get a hefty
sum of money each month for doing it, so I'm certainly enjoying it!
I'm really good at Propose an edit
inventing creative insults, out-drinking everyone in the room,
procrastinating, recognizing minor actors and actresses in other
roles, remembering birthdays, making extensively detailed lists,
enabling people.
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit
I'd like to say my lovely green eyes or perhaps my smile, but let
be honest: we all know where our eyes first gaze when we're
checking someone out, and it's generally not anywhere near the
facial region. My septum ring throws some people off, too.

respect.
The six things I could never do without Propose an edit
Aside from the obvious: red meat, poetry, clove cigarettes, my
laptop & a sturdy internet connection, double java mocha
whatever, and a notebook.
On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit
I'd like to think that I have not yet sunk so far into the pit of
routine mediocrity that I have a 'typical' anything, but I'd
probably be lying to myself. And you!
Well, most likely I'm either at a friend's for a get-together,
playing video games, or reading, but I've been known to deviate
from those fairly often. I'm usually always up for going out.
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here Propose an edit
Please, I barely admit private things to my closest friends.
