Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm very very serious.
I like to make people laugh and smile. I enjoy the simple honesty
of life, the good, bad and ugly, and try to find the humor in it
all. I try to be understanding and want someone to be understanding
of me. I'm career focused and serious, but a complete absurdist. I
refuse to eat salad with dressing on it or with a fork. Seriously,
chopsticks or fingers... salads were not designed for forks and
forks were not designed for salads. I clearly love to rant about
unimportant things. I am an engineer. I make noises with synths and
drum machines (hardware, not software), open-source contributor,
like to build and break things for fun, do open mic comedy, love
semantics, and dreaming of random ideas and projects I wish I had
more time to work on.
I think personality tests can be pretty dubious, but this does
describe me pretty well: INFP
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I lived in Japan for a number of years and had an amazing
experience. I had studied International Relations with a focus on
Japan, so it was great to put my knowledge to use. I wish I could
have stayed, but I couldn't see myself making a permanent life
there. I'm back in Seattle now working in the technology industry
and trying to figure out where I go from here.
I love to travel and am always planning trips. I just returned from
an extended trip to Korea (and technically N. Korea as well) back
in October 2014. I'm hoping to do a Hong Kong trip... I would love
to own a custom tailored Hong Kong suit.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Sitting patiently and having the attention span to not look at my
making good code look like poetry.
I like to like to cook ... my signature dishes are runny over-easy
eggs and vegetarian enchiladas.

There is nothing more interesting than wandering the streets of a
city while being open to whatever experiences afford themselves.
Interesting music, food, people, or whatever, I try to be open to
whatever opportunities are available. I truly love the serene
tension of a city after dark. That's not creepy, really. I just
like how quiet it is, but how the city still boils over with
