Hey. I'm not sure about online dating, but I'm alright with being friends I guess. I joined okcupid so I could take tests without getting annoying messages. Plus I'm not completely opposed to joining a dating site, if it'll help me find someone. But I'm not counting on it. It's just really hard to meet someone when you're gay and living in Nebraska. Well someone who isn't a close friend, which would just be weird. My friends keep on falling for me, and it's just getting really annoying. Anyway, if you really think we'd be nice together, send me a message.

What I’m doing with my life

Eh, trying to figure out college and stuff.

I’m really good at

Learning languages. It doesn't take me long at all now for me to learn a language, maybe a year. I mean that doesn't mean I'm completely fluent after a year, I'll just know it with a complete understanding of the grammar and how it functions, with a minimal vocabulary. But that can be improvised, whereas grammar can't. Yea I know I'm a grammar nerd.

The first things people usually notice about me

I've been told my eyes, and the fact that I look really young (I think it's because I don't wear make-up). Also, you might notice that I have a lot of hair for such a small head. And I'm really skinny. But not anorexic skinny. Just naturally skinny.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: I love Anaïs Nin, and I'm trying to read all the books by her. I also loved Flowers for Algernon, everything by Lois Lowry (Especially The Giver and Gathering Blue), And White Oleander (the book was 1000000000000 times better than the movie, but I still liked the movie).

Movies: Already mentioned White Oleander, I just saw The Orphanage (El Orfanato) and loved it, as well as Pan's Labyrinth (El Laberinto del Fauno)...I love foreign/indie films, and I loved Donnie Darko, even though it can't really be considered 'indie' anymore...I liked Ghost World and Powder...I pretty much like anything that really makes you think.

music: I'll listen to pretty much anything, as long as it's good. And non-religious.

Food: I hate my taste in food, because really, I have none. I've tried things, I didn't like them, I resorted back to hamburgers and ramen. I suck, I know.

The six things I could never do without

My friends, learning a language, the internet, days off, my mind, free will.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Really deep things like philosophy, also psychology. I love trying to figure out my psycho dreams, too. And way over-analyzing the pyschology of sexuality.

On a typical Friday night I am

Probably sleeping or on the internet. I don't really do much hanging out until Saturday, when I actually have the energy. Saturday I usually go to a friend's house or the movies or something.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Um, I'm gay and still in the closet with my family? I'd tell them, but they'd just think it was a phase or something.
