I've been in California for about two years now, and dating here is rough. It seems we all want that connection, all are stumbling around on the same path with the same general ideals, (I'm speaking in a broad general way here, relax a little) but none of us can ever really seem to find the one to take a real chance on. I've met Some women from this site, some just want a night out and its cool, some want a night and breakfast, well that's cool too. Some want to go from "hello" to "I do" in less than .25 seconds. So I'm assuming, you are probably asking right about now "Dude, what do you want?" Well, at the risk of sounding generic, and damn I really hope I don't, I want a friend. Woa, wait a minute cowboy, that's what everyone wants! Ok, so yea, it was generic. So allow me to elaborate. I'm looking for a woman who isn't afraid to be herself, to laugh at life and not take it too seriously. I'm looking for someone who can playfully call me on my bullshit, and laugh at myself with over it. I'm looking for a woman who isn't afraid to get silly, and still have that teenage fun. Remember that? Nerf gun fight anyone? Sword fight in a store while wearing eye patches and talking in bad accents? I bet you though i was going to say pirates didn't you? Someone who we only have to be grown ups with some of the time.
We all have a past, and yes I'm sure there are some moments we would all like to forget about, I don't let my past dictate my future, I choose my own path and walk it with a smile, and some times I skip down the path as well. I'm not perfect, i have my flaws and i expect you to as well. I think our flaws help define who we are. Whats the point of good without the bad? would we even know the difference?
I love to cook, I'm a single guy who lives alone, so that means it's either eating out all the time or cooking for myself. I would love to cook for someone else besides me. I think my food is great. But i am far from a chef. just a guy with a kitchen and an imagination. Anyone feeling adventurous?
Anyone else willing to take a chance on the unknown? or are we all just window shopping?
