I am fun, perceptive, and kind.

My Self-Summary

I think people that know me would describe me as easy going, kind, a deep thinker and good listener. I'm also very spiritual. I'm interested in philosophy, I like deep meaningful conversations. I'm an NF personality type and if you are too I'd love to hear from you.

I love animals and being outdoors just talking a walk. I live in a beautiful state and I appreciate all the beauty around me.

What I’m doing with my life

My life is brand new I'm living alone for the first time ever. I work in a hospital and I'm thinking of taking some classes in the fall.

I love to travel, my last trip was the Grand Canyon and it was amazing. I've been on a few cruises I've got to find someone to go on the next one with me.

I'm interested in learning and reaching my potential. That might sound boring, but I think that's what we are put on this earth for.

I’m really good at

I'm really good at understanding people and situations. I'm good at making people feel comfortable.

The first things people usually notice about me

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

The Mists of Avalon, Searching for Mercy Street, Blink, Sacred Contracts, Poetry by Mary Oliver, The Road Less Traveled, Necessary Losses, Return To Love,The Artists Way, The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison is probably my favorite work of fiction. My favorite short story is The Eyes of A Blue Dog by Charles Chestnut. I've always loved that! It's a story that has always stayed with me.

I don't watch TV. I got rid of cable. I rent from Netflix. I like mostly documentaries. My favorite so far is God has forgotten Us about the Lost Boys of Sudan.

I like Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, Nora Jones, Kenny Chesney and SugarLand.

I think I like Mexican food the best or maybe Italian

The six things I could never do without

Books

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I think about life in general. Why we are on this earth? How fast time seems to go by and how to make my life more meaningful. I worry that there isn't the time to learn all the things I want to know and see the places I want to go.

On a typical Friday night I am

visiting friends, going out for dinner and drinks, watching movies from Netflix and eating popcorn, reading a good book. I guess I don't really have a typical Friday night.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm pretty open about things. Like most of us I'm willing to put myself out there, I'm trying to live with authentic integrity. I'm willing to risk rejection and maybe hurt someone to be true to myself. That is all hard stuff but growth opportunities to be sure.

You should message me if

If you are perceptive, a good communicator, a deep thinker, but also possess a sense of humor. If we like the same books, if you're interested in different cultures, if you have something to say and you feel like chatting, I'm usually up for it.
