My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm looking for a man who is just as comfortable hiking through the woods as he is having an intellectual conversation.

By day I work in marketing and I love it. I work hard for those 40 hours per week, but like to leave it at the office when I go home at the end of the day.

I’m an outdoors woman at heart. When the days are long and the weather is nice, I go on a couple of long hikes a week at local parks or in rural areas. I love nature photography. Luckily I have two loyal hounds to accompany me. They’re my buddies.

I love adventure and the unknown. I’ve lived on three continents. I went skydiving. I like taking day trips without an itinerary.

I’m a podcast addict. That’s my favorite way to learn and broaden my mind. I also like reading and watching documentaries, but podcasts are great while I work and drive. It’s important to me to keep learning and that is something I want to share with my partner.

I started doing yoga a few months ago. I'm pretty terrible at it, but I'm going to keep trying. ;)

I love to bake, so if you like pies and fresh bread I’m your girl! I’m not good on the grill though, so if you have any tips or tricks, that is something I need to learn. :)

I’m looking for a partner who values family, integrity and loyalty. Quality time is important, but I am also independent and encourage my partner to have a life outside of me.

If it sounds like we could have a good conversation or a good laugh, I’d love to hear from you.

PS- if I look at your profile but don't write you, that doesn't mean I'm not interested. I may just not have time at the moment or want to think about what I'd say.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Hiking, sewing, watching dumb comedies, listening to NPR, saving puppies.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
-laughing til I cry
-trivial pursuit
-hamming it up
-being brave
-making mojitos
-embracing awkward moments
-reading the emotions in a room
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile. And my general warmth. Is that a weird thing to say? I've heard I'm very warm and non-judgmental.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Book- East of Eden (any Steinbeck), Catcher in the Rye, The Good Earth
Movies- Dumb comedies like Dumb and Dumber or the Hangover, romantic comedies, etc.
Shows- Breaking Bad, House, Key and Peele, The League, 30 Rock, Mindy Project
NPR- I'm an NPR junkie. I love This American Life, Radiolab, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, Serial, Nerdist. Podcasts are the way to my heart.

True confessions- I hate being asked what my "favorite xyz" is. I have so many favorites! And they change day to day.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-Friends and family
-My dogs
-Quiet time
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Oh man, how to answer! I think about my job, what I'm going to do in the next hour of my life, where I want to live in 5 years, chickens, social justice, a shoe organization solution, and the ways of the world.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either relaxing after the work week, working out, hanging out with friends, or hiking with my dogs. Sometimes I watch Dateline. It is my guilty pleasure.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am pretty terrible at answering the questions on here. I feel like so many of them require the context of getting to know a person before you delve so deep, so don't be surprised if I haven't answered many.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You love to laugh, you're smart, and you like trying new things. You respect women and are looking for a relationship.

If you're just going to say "hi," then please don't bother.
