My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I alternate between extremely goofy, and extremely serious. Sometimes I am both at once.

I am the friendliest antisocial person you will ever meet.

I'm recently out of a long-term relationship, and I am not really looking for another serious relationship right now. I'd just like to meet some people with similar interests.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have a degree in English that I do not use as often as I would like, but I do get to do some freelance writing for gaming websites on occasion. It doesn't pay the bills, but it's fun.

I also work full-time in the office of a property management agency. I basically do all the work a landlord would do, with the added benefit of making a fraction as much. It's a decent job, though, and I do enjoy it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Quoting movies and TV shows instead of coming up with something original to say. Most card/board/video games. Figuratively sticking my foot in my mouth. Literally sticking my foot in my mouth.*

The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm inclined to say "I have no idea," but one day an old Australian lady randomly walked up to me in a store and told me I had "the most amazing eyelashes!" So eyelashes it is. Drink 'em in, ladies.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Anything by Christopher Moore or Nick Hornby, The City of Dreaming Books, the "Sandman Slim" series, "The Good Thief's Guide" series, The Spellman Files, The "Harry Potter" series, The Great Gatsby, "Bartleby the Scrivener," "The Achieve of, The Mastery of the Thing" and a ton of others, but generally fiction and short fiction.

Movies: Evil Dead/anything with Bruce Campbell, The Big Lebowski, Sin City, Quentin Tarantino flicks, Stranger Than Fiction, The Princess Bride, Secretary, Grandma's Boy, Groundhog Day (Really, anything with Bill Murray), Rapturepalooza, Children of Men, and a metric shit-ton more.

TV: Community, Psych, Parks and Rec, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, The IT Crowd, Archer, Dexter, 30 Rock, Game of Thrones, House of Cards - Pretty much anything that has good writing and/or is a little weird.

Music: I'm a huge Frank Zappa fan, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Nina Simone, Instrumental Jazz, some newer stuff too. I have pretty eclectic tastes, but I'm not much of a country fan, and I usually don't like radio-friendly pop music.

Food: I'm not very picky when it comes to food, but I would say my favourites are Italian, and breakfast foods. I make a damn fine omelette. Damn fine.

Games: I'm a pretty big fan of games. Play is, in my opinion, humanity's crowning achievement. Some of my all-time favorites are: The Last of Us (which is hands-down the best game I've ever played), Portal & Portal 2, the Bioshock series, Super Mario RPG, The Elder Scrolls series, The Walking Dead Adventure Game, Mariokart Double Dash, MechWarrior Online, H1Z1, and way too many more to list here. I love card and board games as well - Munchkin is an all-time favorite, as are classics like Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
books, games, good beer, greasy diners, liberals, and lots and lots of sleep
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I'm a guy... so I alternate between thinking about sex and absofuckinglutely nothing every six seconds (give or take).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
...playing kickball with friends in the summer, or watching Netfkix on the couch in the winter. Most likely stoned in either case.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Two words: "hobbit feet"
