I am restless, playful, and curious.
My Self-Summary
I'll keep this short, I won't be on for every day. I get on
sporadically, so if you send me a message and I don't respond, I
probably just haven't seen it yet.
Now, I'll get the basics out of the way.
#No, I don't like sports, although I'll admit I haven't given them
a fair chance.
#Yes, I'm geeky, but not in the asthmatic, have no color kind of
way.
#No, I don't have washboard abs, but you wouldn't be able to tell
unless I took my shirt off.
#Yes, I can be picky, but that doesn't mean I refuse to try new
things.
#No, I'm not being a jerk. I tend to say things that other people
find offensive and mean. I really don't mean for what I say to come
across like that, it's just a misunderstanding.
#Yes, I'm an atheist, and I'm not converting...to anything.
#Yes, I do love video games and television (except the idiotic
commercials), so my ideal match would like them too.
#Yes, I do prefer my friends and dates not to stink. Please take a
shower.
#No, I don't do any drugs, or smoke, but I do drink a little
sometimes.
#No, I'm not in a coma, I just nap like a frickin' lion most of the
time.
#Yes, I know my poofy hair looks really bad sometimes.
#And Yes, saying "Yes" and "No" before each line annoyed me
too.
I'm a 20 year bi male. I set my profile to "gay", but only because
I sick of girls right now and my Quiver matches are all women.
Ladies, I still like you, but I need a break.
I live in the middle of freaking nowhere, NC. Well, that's not
entirely true, I do live close to Wilmington; but it feels like
nowhere sometimes. I like pretty much all of the arts. You know,
music, movies, video games, etc. I have interests in many of the
sciences, including biology, quantum mechanics (although I don't
understand all of it), robotics/cybernetics, gadgets, and lots
more.
Um, I'm easy going, which might be why some people call me lazy.
I'm not really lazy, I have nothing against work, I just can't
bring myself to do it if I don't feel like doing it. There's a fine
line difference. I'm up for most anything. A night out, staying
home with a movie, or kicking ass online in whatever game I'm
currently obsessing over.
Honestly, I don't know what I'm looking for right now. I've been
trying to get into college, but I'm having trouble getting
financial aid. There are many things I want to try or do, but I
guess the main thing I'd like to pursue would be the field of
robotics and electronics. I'm not entirely sure, but I think that
falls directly in the middle of both mechanical and electrical
engineering.
Well, I don't really know what else to say. If I left something
out, sorry. Just look at my test results and maybe you'll get a
better idea about who I am.
Peace.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now, I don't have many major goals. I'm trying to get
financial aid to take some classes at my local community college.
I've been looking for a job that doesn't involve whoring myself
out, but not with much luck. I've been trying on and off to learn
Japanese and Spanish, play the piano, get better at my crappy
artwork, and learn a few things about computer building and
electronics. There are some other things, but I'll spare you.
I’m really good at
Well, I'm not great at anything, but I do have a little skill in a
lot of things. I can write decently most of the time. I'm slowly
getting better at graphic design and digital artwork. I can make
little lego mechs and stuff like that. Oh, and I recently
discovered I can sing certain songs pretty well. Ok, that's a lie.
My singing sucks, but that won't stop me from bellowing out some
songs that's been stuck in my head all day long.
I've had years of experience trying to figure out and fix what's
wrong with my computer, so I'm a little tech savvy. I enjoy
cooking, especially if it's baked goods. And, well I used to be a
decent artist when I was still in high school; although, I haven't
done much since then that wasn't connected to a computer.
Every now and then I break out my keyboard and practice my mad
piano skillz. Sometimes I splice together bits of songs and
sometimes I just make some beatbox improv. (Translation: I make
annoying noises that are fun to make.)
More or less, it depends on the day. Sometimes I have good days,
and I'm an unstoppable force of greatness and creativity, and some
days I can barely wake up on time.
The first things people usually notice about me
I really don't know, I've never asked. If I was being forced to
guess by an evil dating website that was trying to steal my soul,
then I'd have to say....my bad fashion sense, probably. That
followed by my lack of social grace. *shrug*
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I'll admit it, Harry Potter comes to mind first off. But if it's a
decent sci-fi or fantasy book, I'll probably enjoy it. I've read
lots of different types of books, but don't really have any
favorites. If it's interesting, then I'll read it. The only reason
I don't read as much as I'd like is that I don't buy books, and
trying to read them on a computer monitor hurts my eyes.
My taste in movies is pretty much the same as my taste in books.
Science fiction, fantasy, conspiracy thrillers, some action movies,
oh, and comedies are always good. I also enjoy shows like "How it
Works" and "Deconstructed". I follow some news and late-night
comedy talk shows too.
Music, lets see... I don't have a list, but the first two bands
that come to mind are Gorillaz and Linkin Park. I really don't
experiment with my taste in music very often. Usually, I like a
little bit of everything except country or heavy metal. I...uh,
also have some songs that are probably best suited to a rave in
some abandoned warehouse.
My taste in foods? Hm, well, I like spicy, sweet, tangy, saucy, and
zesty foods the best. Pass me a piece of key lime pie with a bit of
lime zest sprinkled over top, and I'll probably pass out from sheer
joy.
The six things I could never do without
Basic necessities aside:
My gadgets. I love all the little electronic things I have lying
around everywhere; even if most of them are a bit useless.
My music. 'Nuff said.
My alone time. Cause sometimes you just need to sit back and relax.
Well, it doesn't have to be strictly just me, I don't mind having
someone there to unwind with. I just sometimes need time away from
the rest of the world...those damned bastards.
Well, my legs I guess. I like just walking around at times. And if
I lost that ability, well, I'd be really upset.
Games. One of the best ways to relax -and- not be bored to tears;
unlike things like sunbathing and meditation.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I want to do with my life. I tend to have my interests move in
phases. I'll like photography one day, then video game design the
next, and architecture after that. After that it'll be acting, then
drawing, then computer design and building, biology, quantum
mechanics, philosophy, emerging technologies like OLED and solar
hydrogen. Then it'll be back to photography a month later.
Basically, I like so many things, that it's never the same from day
to day. Sometimes I find myself thinking about how things work or
why this might happen instead of that. I'm just curious about the
world I guess. Then again, who isn't?
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing anything from playing video games with friends on Xbox Live,
to riding aimlessly around town with my friend.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I suppose my test results. They may not be overtly personal, but
they do say a lot about who I am. Feel free to WTF me and see what
I'm like; or just message me and ask.
You should message me if
You want to go see a movie or something; or if you just want to
chat, or think I look good.
Just so you know, I'd prefer to keep any romantic relationship
within, say, 25 miles and 3-4 years of my location and age. If it's
just chatting or anything else, neither are an issue. If you send
me a message or IM me, and I don't respond or respond slowly or
with lots of typos, then I'm probably busy with something or
haven't been on in months. Just be patient, I like to talk to
people, but I don't always have time to. Thanks in advance.
Oh, and just so you know, two of my personality "Awards" are full
of it. I'll let you decide which ones.
