I am young in spirit, energy, good shape, the usual stuff.
Everyone that meets me or knows me is surprised by my energy. I like to have fun and like to make people laugh, have fun, be happy...all that good stuff that is the secret of life. I am a good listener and a calm and steady person....but I am also spontaneous and ready to try something new at the drop of a hat.
I have a loving and caring family, both here and in the middle part of this country.
I like to take short trips (like to San Francisco) and also long trips (like to Asia and Europe)
I am a teacher. I am proud of that but am more proud of being a father. My two daughters are an incredible source of pride for me. They are both off to college pretty far from San Diego.
I was a singer and musician in the 80's. I earned my living that way for 5 years. Kind of a crazy business though. I did some acting in college and community theater and that was fun. Then I got serious and became a teacher. Masters degree too. You can't beat a steady paycheck.
I live in a very nice house, that has a huge yard (which is most unusual in San Diego) which is full of trees, flowers and little paths here and there. It is like living in a park in the city. It is great to wake up in the morning and look out the window to see all the trees and flowers as the sun comes up.
I believe that it is a good thing for a couple to have other friends to do things with. If you trust the person, it just makes the relationship stronger.
I'm one of the good ones. I would date me.
