I grew up and lived most of my life on the East coast, but I've moved out here to Seattle after college, and I definitely love the West coast much more. I'm looking for someone to enrich and complement my life. I like to be social, but I do need quiet time (not necessarily alone - spending quiet time with you would be just as awesome). I thrive with someone who likes to both spend time doing active stuff like running, biking, hiking, walks in the park, exploring the city, as well as be able to take it easy and just veg on the couch with a movie.

I'm looking for a smart guy who I can learn from as well as learn from me. I'm looking for someone who I feel like is making my life better by teaching me new things and being there for me, as well as the reverse - I feel fulfilled when I feel like I'm making a difference in your life.

What I’m doing with my life

Enjoying it. I love my job and wouldn't trade that for anything right now. Also, having moved to the Seattle from the Eastside a year ago, I've been finding more things to do in the city, and getting out more. I also just got my pilot's license, and having lots of fun with that (at least when the weather is cooperating).

playing music (piano and violin). I'm also very good at the guitar in Rock Band :)

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I love Star Trek, Stargate, Battlestar Galactica, basically anything sci-fi. Other shows I watch are 30 Rock, House, Burn Notice, and Lost.

I'm a classically trained pianist, so I grew up more with that stuff. My favorite classical composers are Debussy, Ravel, Vaughan-Williams, Holst, and Copland. I also like Dave Matthews, Matchbox Twenty, and Fleetwood Mac.

Food - I love Japanese - sushi and tempura. I also love fried chicken, mushrooms, and anything with coconut in it.
