My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm looking for that guy I can call my best friend and eventually my partner. I'm not interested in a hookup and you should just move on if that's all you're looking for. I'm looking for the long haul and commitment.

Currently I'm in a master's program for Wellness Management and Applied Gerontology with a minor in Business Administration. I work as a graduate assistant with older adults in my community and it is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. I love life and yoga. I'm a talker, I can talk about anything and everything. I've definitely been blessed with the gift of gab.

I love cycling. Road cycling is such a high! It can be dangerous but it's so much fun. I'm also getting back into running. I really want to run a marathon next year.

It's probably a little cliche but these are some of my favorite quotes that kind of represent me as an individual.

Everytime you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing." Mother Teresa

“I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person.” Audrey Hepburn

Without leaps of imagination, or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning." Gloria Steinem

I definitely have an old soul and I'm a very old fashioned person. So if you're looking for a hookup you probably better keep searching. =]

Take the time to enjoy the little things in life and never take them for granted. Keep a smile and love will find you.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Well, I'm in my second year of my master's program, so I don't really have a lot of free time. I'm very passionate about school and my assistantship.

I love cycling and I'm currently training to ride across Indiana!

I'm just trying to live life to fullest and experience as many things as possible. I love to laugh and smile.

After I finish my Master's program I hope to move to the Chicago area but who knows where I will end up!

I really love reading there are too many books to list! I love everything from classic literature to present day fiction. I read a lot of scientific journal articles, but I try to read outside of school.

I love movies. I am content curling up on the couch and watching an old black and white film or watching the latest blockbuster release. There are way too many movies for me to list. But, I'm pretty content with anything with Meryl Streep.

I really like to watch Revenge. However, I don't normally keep up with it. I don't really watch a lot of TV.

Shakira, Sugarland, Sara Bareilles, Norah Jones, Jazz, Pink Martini, Classical, and some Country.

I really like to make delicious vegan food. :)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My yoga mat
My road bike
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time thinking about my future and my plans and how I will achieve the goals I have set for myself. I think about finding the right guy who will treat me with respect and love me for the person I am. I think about having a family and raising a couple of great kids.

I also think about where I want to get my Ph.D., I have 3 schools in mind, and they all offer great Gerontology programs.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually entertaining friends, reading, going to the local pub (I'm really not into the gay bar scene), or watching a movie after a long week.

Dancing like Shakira usually happens too.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Apparently I have resting bitch face and that scares people. The girls in my program told me that, but then I laugh and they know I'm not mad or upset. I promise I'm usually a very nice guy. :)
