Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
8/27 - 8/31: In Seattle for PAX Prime.
I'm a graduate of Portland State University with a Bachelor's
degree in Film and a minor in Writing. Writing is currently my
biggest passion and I strive for and push myself to be the best
writer I can possibly be. My forte includes poetry, short stories
and fictional works, although I've also dabbled in screenplays as
well. To me, the written word is the most powerful form of
expression and also gives you much more freedom, the chance to be
able to create worlds, characters, actions, anything just with a
few simple words, is absolutely amazing. Someday, I want to be able
to share my love of the written word with everybody, here's
Interests wise, I'm a lover of the cinema, partially the reason why
I'm a film major. Whenever I can, I attend the local theater and
catch a flick, otherwise, Netflix is also my go-to guy for anything
and everything television and movie wise. I also enjoy going out to
music venues like the Hawthorne and Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall.
I'm hugely into alternative rock, although I'll go to any venue if
it has a good artist. Also, back in high school I was a huge
theater-choir geek, having acted in a few plays and musicals as
well as being in the Concert Choir as a tenor, although I don't do
much of either anymore.
I'm also a huge gamer, comic book geek and an anime fan. I'm a
Nintendo/Playstation fan and a DC Comics purist. I also love going
to conventions, my first one was Wizard World Comic Con in
Portland, which I've attended since its inception. The Nintendo 64
was the first console I've ever owned and it's the reason why I
became a gamer in the first place. I've owned every Nintendo
console from each generation since the N64, although I've passed
down some of them to my 7 year old cousin Jack.
Portland is like my second home because it seems like that for as
long as I've lived in Oregon, I have yet to explore every nook and
cranny of this great city, sure, Beaverton is alright, but nothing
beats the PDX's Waterfront, Voodoo Donuts, Ground Kontrol, Powell's
I'm also a huge fan of our local sports teams and will go to a
Timbers or Blazers game in a heartbeat. Although I'm also a
Seahawks and Mariners fan.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I currently work at Xerox Services as part of their Quality
Assurance department. On the side I also write movie and game
reviews for a website called Valor Abbey that's run by some of my
friends. Someday I'd like to make that my living but for now, I'm
just keeping my feet on the ground.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Recognizing movies and song artists, blogging, gaming,
binge-watching and writing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes, being hazel, they tend to change from brown to green
depending on the lighting. Ultimately, they are my one true means
of expression, one look in my eyes and you can tell exactly what
I'm thinking. Just don't get lost in them in the process :)

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

On a typical Friday night I am

Hanging out with friends, catching a flick on the big screen, going
to a concert, grabbing a drink at the bar or just relaxing at home

I'm not a fan of 'modern horror movies' (although I enjoy classic
monster movies,) musicals are my guilty pleasure, I carry around a
Nintendo 3DS in my pocket everywhere I go and I've been to Disney
