I'm a big, furry, pansexual cuddle slut. I have geek tendencies (I used to work at the evil empire, Microsoft, doing speech recognition.) A few years ago I decided that I was incapable of doing that full-time any longer, though. Since then I have delivered sailboats from Hawaii, attended the Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding, built a mast and other repairs on a 55 year old wooden schooner, sailed the schooner up in Canada for the summers, and spent a lot of time in the woods. I did a primitive living skills apprenticeship with Earthwalk Northwest in Issaquah. In 2008 I moved back to Canada and am now in Victoria, BC doing a PhD at UVic. I'm also back living on my boat in the inner harbour. I'd love to meet fun people for dating, sailing, kayaking, camping, cooking, foraging, or any combination of the above.

I'm in a long-term relationship, but we are polyamorous. I'm back and forth between Victoria and Vancouver a lot, with occasional side trips to San Francisco. Lots going on in my life and my dance card is kind of full, but if we should meet then I'll make time!

BTW. I keep getting asked about pansexual. I selected bisexual on OKC because it was the closest to my identity, but I don't really like the term. You can think of pansexual as bisexual without the implied support of a gender binary. I date all flavours of people. And particularly enjoy people who don't entirely colour inside the lines.

Sailing and woodworking and writing, playing in the woods with elves and punks and anarchists, learning what kind of seaweeds I can eat, listening to good music. I'm also busy these days with a local hackerspace I helped found. Check out makerspace.ca and come out and play!

foods: curry. yum. I have a host of recently discovered food allergies, so I'm eating lots of seafood and veggies these days. Since that's what I can collect from the sea and forest it works out best that way anyways!
